Using a second monitor is impossible because the connection is noisy
3/5

If I use the BlueRigger cable to connect a second monitor to my 27" 5K iMac, I get lots of interference, noise, and video artifacts. I don't know if this is a quality control or a design defect. Luckily, I could use a borrowed cable from work to compare, and rule out any setup issues. A simple cable swap fixed the monitor in no time. Based on the product image, it should have been obvious that the BlueRigger does not have a choke coil at either end to filter noise, making it an incompatible cable.

In Reality, It's A Dual-Income Issue You'll need a link cable! I did not want to take the risk of buying a dual-purpose phone Dual-link cable that would not actually be dual Having carefully read the reviews on Amazon, I clicked on the link
5/5

It's my great pleasure to announce that this BlueRigger DVI Male to DVI Male Digital Dual-Port Adapter has worked without any issues An Ethernet cable is used to link computers. ii) The monitor is used 16 hours a Since delivery, I have only had the cable attached for 5 days, nevertheless, the cable passed the dual-detection test The link signals started working seamlessly as soon as I restarted the computer after making the easy connections (both fittings are well-made and fit snugly but without a problem). It was such a relief not to have to deal with a bunch of cable-related issues My system has been returned to Amazon multiple times until a proper one has been found. This is a great product. (I chose to write a review since others took the time to share their experiences, which helped me as well. Thanks a lot!.

Exactly what I was looking for
5/5

I'm not sure whether any can find this review useful, as it deals with an SVGA cable, not from BlueRigger, but it may prove useful to others who encounter the same problem I did. It failed to achieve the native resolution of my Acer G246HL monitor when the 25' SVGA cable that I purchased from another Amazon vendor (Importer520 Blue Connectors) was used. The Costco store had just delivered two new Acer 24" monitors to my home. It took over an hour for the concierge service at http//www. myibm. com to help me update the monitor driver and look for any other possible causes of the resolution problem. In the end, the cable (not from BlueRigger) was to blame for the problem. Previously, I didn't have a problem with the short 6' SVGA cable. Any other person thinking about extending their SVGA cable run from a docking station should keep in mind that it makes a difference what brand of SVGA cable you purchase. Additionally, prior to solving this resolution loss problem, I purchased a 25' SVGA cable from Fry's Electronics, and that cable would only achieve native resolution (1920x1080) immediately after I connect the cable to On restart, the laptop was unable to recognize the make or model of the monitor connected via the SVGA port and would default to a lower generic After I unplugged the SVGA cable from the back of the monitor and connected it again, I was able to see In this case, the laptop would recognize the model and use the native resolution so long as it was plugged in while running. The most unique thing I've ever seen. As a last resort, I ordered another 25' SVGA cable from Cable Matters on Amazon, and that cable works fine it will recognize the monitor model and maintain the resolution even after restarting. The irony is not lost on me.

It is a pleasure to deal with a company that stands behind its product
4/5

I bought 2 of these cables I found one that worked really well. In the other case, it occasionally failed to work. This appeared to be an issue with quality control. As a result of this situation, I initially rated the service one star. Despite the fact that I did not realize it until the other cable partially failed, Bluerigger responded to my initial review with contact information for fixing the problem. The problem was explained to them through a letter and new cables were promptly shipped. Initial installation of both of them resulted in them working. For now, I am rating them at 4 stars due to their prompt attention to the issue. My rating will be upgraded to five stars if they work reliably for the next year. It's refreshing to know a company stands behind their products.

There is a Solid Cable but it is not accurate in the images
3/5

I have been very happy with this cable, the wire is thick and the connection is perfect between my monitor and graphics card. It supports 1080p 144hz perfectly. However, the product images are not completely It appears from the images of the product that there is a base for the display Although it looks like the cable is made of some kind of metal finish, that is not the case, at least not on the 10ft model. I find the 10ft version to be made from cheap plastic which is a bit disappointing.

This is a great product
5/5

Instead of taking apart the monitor and trying to fix the problem instead, I decided to order this cable and try the DVI port instead, I was hesitant when buying the cable because of the picture quality I would get, but since I was using it for work, I bit the bullet and bought I was surprised by how well this option worked, as I saw no difference in quality for the task I needed.

I used an old flat screen monitor from Dell
5/5

I used it with an old Dell monitor I had from when I was a child. i needed to hook up a second monitor to my son's modern computer that had no VGA port. I wasn't sure if I should purchase a DVI cable or an HDMI adapter since DVI wouldn't normally be used. the cable worked perfectly. is well with the purchase and we are happy with it.
