This would get no stars from me if I could. On two of them, the wires were visible through the plastic, so they failed to function. They will be returned to me. Building new computers and playing around with different motherboards is my hobby. Whenever I assemble and test hardware before installing it into the case, I don't skimp on quality. It will save you time if you have an issue. Jump starting the motherboard is easier with this switch, since it does not require a screw driver.
Buying three momentary power switches for a computer at a reasonable price is a great deal. My CMOS jumper buttons are used to clear CMOS. Because this button has sharp edges, it isn't possible to use it as a case power button for long term. So you want to consider.
Since I lost my PC's original power switch a few weeks ago, I bought this set of three power switches. It appears that the power button for my MacBook is hooked up to a 10 pin connector (or 8 pin? On the motherboard, I cut off the two-pin connector supplied with this kit, connected the new wires to the 10 pine connector, and ran the wires out through front vent holes. A messy solution that does the job. We will have to see how durable this is. Even so, I did not want to spend any more money on such an old machine.
I mean, it's a good thing. A simple switch to turn the power on. do a great job and have a fair price compared to their competitors. If I need more, I will definitely purchase from them again.
