Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this cable in a tunnel?

My understanding isn't suitable for burying in the ground. PVC can be used to run underground.

Is this coaxial cable flexible, and what are the loss specifications?

When compared to RG 58, this is a flex coax rather than a rigid coax. It's designed to meet commercial Rg8 standards, but I'm not sure if it meets military requirements.

Is this the same thing as rg-coax? 8Is it for CB/Ham radios, as well?

Yes. My husband uses it for his Ham radio, but he required a 100' cable with AMPHENOL connectors for his setup, so he had to purchase one separately.

Is this a real piece of copper? or cca?

Copper 7/13 is what it is.

For Amateur Radio HF work, solid connectors and a good cable are essential
4/5

Mine has been used for HF Amateur Radio work (7. 0 - 29 MHz). Solid connectors and a thick outer dielectric make this a good performer. I haven't had the opportunity to open it yet, so I can't comment on the coverage or structure of the inner shield. My antenna matching system, on the other hand, had no trouble loading a 20m dipole on 40m at 100 watts without arcing or excessive losses. I'll buy it again because it's a good performer.

This is something I'm going to buy a lot more of! Coax is excellent
5/5

RG- has a similar degree of adaptability. However, the loss is lower at 213 points. It's built to last, and the connectors are in good shape. This is the new way I'm going to do things. to coax. This is something I'm going to buy more of.

Coax is excellent
5/5

This is a great coax at a great price; it's low loss and works well on all of the frequencies I've tried. 2 meters, 70 centimeters, 6 meters, and 10 meters are the available lengths. It appears to be of excellent quality, the price was reasonable, and the delivery was prompt!.

It's adequate, but it can't be soldered
4/5

If you plan to use the cable as is, these are decent cables with good connectors. The braided outer shield only covers about 50% of the shield, but it has an inner shield. If you need to change the cable length or one of the connectors, keep in mind that the outer shield cannot be soldered, so you'll need to use a crimp connector.

I'm blown away by the SWR, which is extremely low
5/5

This is a fantastic feed line; I got a SWR of 1. 03 on channel 146. With a Comet GP-520, 520 is possible. 3. The line was coiled quite tightly, which increases the SWR. The line is stiff, so it's probably not ideal for field use, but it'll do in a pinch.

This is better than most, as I used it to install a 2 meter on a 32' RV
5/5

It's quite effective. Low SWR.

This Coax is in good working order
4/5

BUT! The "foil" dialectic did not appeal to me, and I prefer braided copper instead. Aside from that, I believe it is suitable for the majority of people. I needed something more durable because I was running it outside.

Excellent value for money
5/5

I used it to connect to an HF vertical antenna and found it to be of good quality for the price.
