Do the connectors have to be crimped or soldiered on?

The connector pins are soldered together. br>In order to ensure a good joint, I resoldered mine.

What is the difference between lmr400 and rg8u?

The LMR400 is more capable of handling higher power and frequency.

Cables and connectors of exceptional quality

The cable and connectors are of excellent quality. The center pin of the connector appeared to be made of cold solder. I'll make some minor adjustments to these. I contacted the supplier, who assured me that they would double-check their quality control to ensure that future solder joints are of the highest possible quality. Very quick to respond.

Excellent coax, but poor workmanship and quality control! Although the coax is excellent, quality control has been neglected

This is the second time I've bought from this shop, and it's always been a pleasant experience. One end, however, was not even soldered on this order! When you buy custom-made coax, you expect it to be perfect, and I made the mistake of not double-checking both ends! I only checked one end and it was fine; my mistake for not checking both ends; otherwise, it would have returned. I've already rigged up the good end to the antenna, which is 60 feet up. This will be soldered by me, but buyer beware!.

Excellent coax with the best ends on the market

I like well-made cables, and this is one of them. It took me a while to get it up and running, but that was not the cable's fault. The antenna and coax could only be installed on weekends. I'm getting close to finishing the whole thing. COAX is fantastic.
