I mounted a Comet antenna GP-100 on the Vansky antenna mount. In my attic, there is only one. It was simple to put together and set up. The two lag bolts that came with the package would have penetrated the 2 X 6 piece of lumber I used, so I bought four shorter lag bolts to use instead. Because of this design, I was able to put the antenna in the best possible spot in my attic. After installing the antenna in my attic, I needed to adjust the vertical position of the antenna, which was simple to do by loosening and tightening the two bolts at the base of the pipe (note that the hardware is in millimeters - see below). Bolt heads measure ten millimeters in diameter.

I, like many others, turned off the television. With this mount, I was able to mount an antenna in my attic. (Antennas mounted outside are prohibited by my association) I suspended it from a roof rafter and it works perfectly. Adjustability is possible thanks to the design. This is the antenna I used with this mount.

We purchased this antenna after a salesman at Best Buy recommended it to us. We were fed up with paying exorbitant prices for basic cable, as well as paying for channels we never watched. On a hilltop surrounded by trees, we are in a rural development. We put it on our chimney and it picks up a few major networks, all of the PBS channels, and a few random channels in the middle. All of the channels are in high definition (HD) and crystal clear. We're in good spirits. We've only had the antenna for a few months, so we can't say for sure how long it will last.

Simple to use and adaptable. It was mounted in the attic and didn't require much adjustment. br>Excellent value; simple to install and adjust if needed.

For what it is, it's not a bad mount; it's a little on the light side, but it'll do the job. However, you'll need to buy new nuts, bolts, and hardware. The threads on the carriage bolt (see photo) that attaches the rod to the bracket stripped off as the very LAST step in installing this was swinging the mount up into position and making final level adjustments. I had to completely disassemble the system, drive 20 minutes one way to a hardware store, pick up the necessary hardware, return home, and reassemble the system. It's a good mount for a good price with proper hardware; just factor in a few extra dollars for good nuts and bolts, as well as your time to pick them up, into the overall price, as there may be better options based on that.

This works for me because I was able to mount it on a horizontal ceiling joist in my attic. However, according to the installation instructions, this should be mounted on an interior vertical wall with a small UHF antenna mounted on the pole. The vertical portion of the pole will only be about 6 inches away from the wall when mounted this way. There's probably enough room for a very small antenna, but not enough for a rotating one. Make sure you measure the distance between the antenna mounting center line and the back of the antenna you want to mount on the wall. It should be no more than 5 inches in length. This is for someone who isn't a member of the military. antenna that rotates.

First and foremost, it was only an inch in diameter, it appeared to be somewhat cheap and thin, and it will not last long. The base's mounting bracket is a little on the tall side. I had to put the top screw through the drip edge on the roof to mount this to a house's fascia board, which was not ideal. It works, but I really wish I could have just scrounged up an old satellite dish arm. It'd go on and on. For my next installation, I'm not going to buy another one. Although the mounting bolts were a nice touch, the wood mount only came with two screws, and the top of the mast lacked a rubber or vinyl cover to keep water from getting inside the pipe and diverting it back towards the mount. To be honest, I feel like I paid twice as much as it was worth.

It's sturdy and does the job well. The angle adjustment nuts, on the other hand, are easily corroded. I'm deducting a star because they didn't thoroughly test their product. br>br>Pictures are attached. After a month of being outside, I reached this conclusion.
