It is not required that it be attached to the window, but it is recommended that you do so because the results will be better. Unless you're within 10 to 15 miles of a radio or television tower. Then you can mount it behind your TV on the wall.
I used the included Velcro stickers to attach mine to the wall behind the TV. It's also possible to stick it to the television directly. Wherever I am, I get good reception. The distance between the TV station repeater and your antennae will determine your reception.
Certainly not. You only need one antenna, regardless of manufacturer, if you have a system like the fire tv recast. Your home network is used to connect the recast to your fire tv. You can access the DVR and live TV as long as you have a fire TV or stick connected to the television. I haven't looked into other DVR options because my home is connected to Amazon services.
Yes, our antenna will connect via coax "ant in" input, and a USB power adapter is included in the set for the USB cable. However, check to see if your television has a built-in digital converter. If not, you'll have to go your own way. thank you

This antenna caught my eye on Amazon, so I decided to give it a shot. It arrived quickly after I purchased it on Amazon. It was used on a TV near a window and a TV in the family room that was not near a window. It would be an understatement to say that the results were pleasantly surprising. It picks up 25 clear channels in the family room, with a few more near the window. This antenna, unlike the rabbit ear and fish bone antennas I used in the past, produces very clear images. I can watch NBC, CBS, PBS, FOX, and ABC in digital with crystal clear pictures that are at least as good as the ones I used to get from cable. This antenna allows you to receive local and other channels over the air rather than paying for cable, which is a game changer. br>br>I've been using this antenna for about a week, day and night, clear days and cloudy days. Putting the antenna up high, in my experience, is the key to getting consistent, clear images. It's also a good idea to try turning it 90 degrees to find the best direction.
It was incredibly simple to set up, and I'm currently watching Ellen live! It won't be when it's posted online because you can see it's just a small black square on my window. It is not required to go there, but according to the instructions, it may pick up better signals. So far, I'm very pleased with it; my children even snuggled up together last night to watch Sesame Street! What a wonderful opportunity. I recommend that you follow the directions and try it without the MA Bob booster. In my case, I picked up more channels without being near a tower, so I'm guessing I'm close to one. The image is crisp and attractive. I also have access to high-definition (HD) programming. I bought it solely for Ellen, but now my husband is looking forward to watching live sports, so it was well worth the investment. In my opinion, it is extremely inexpensive.
The skyline of Boston (25 miles) can be seen on the horizon after traveling half of the distance over open water (Massachusetts Bay). br>br>I thought I was getting two different antennas from this supplier because their advertised ranges were different. When I received the two "different" antennas, it turned out that they were the same item, with the exception that one had a sticker covering the SKU code and replacing it with an "updated" SKU code. My plan was to give both a shot and see which one worked best for my sister. br>br>I immediately returned one because they were clearly identical (note that the descriptions on the Amazon site were different). After all, the description said the range was "80 to 100 miles" (more on that description below). So I drove the 3 hours to my sister's apartment with this antenna, thinking it would work fine. Her apartment is about 100 feet above the harbor and open water, on the crest of a hill. I attempted three different methods. The antenna was placed in four different positions, including two different windows, and it picked up nothing. I should point out that the TV works fine; she had a "dead" cable TV hookup in the apartment, but the channel search still found the one available cable company information channel from that cable. In other words, the auto search on the TV was fine before I hooked up the antenna, but it picked up nothing at all once it was connected. br>br>My other surprise came just now when I decided to review this item and went to the "My Orders" section to do so. In the My Orders section, it says what the description was 6 days ago when I bought this antanna: br>[2019 Newest] Long 65-foot Amplified HD Digital TV Antenna Supports 4K 1080p and has an 80-mile range. And now the description has been changed to 120 miles! WTF? This isn't going to work at 37 miles! I was not impressed in the least. Today, I'll return the second.
This is fantastic! Never again will I pay for cable! DISH, Comcast, DirecTV, and other pay-TV providers are being phased out. Not only is the picture quality excellent, but I'm also receiving channels that I wouldn't expect to receive. I'm 100% in love with this! Don't put it off any longer; purchase yours right now. And, no. . I am not a paid reviewer; I am simply a customer. It had just arrived, so I plugged it into the back of my TV, did a "channel search," and "bam," HDTV was at my fingertips. I'm in ecstasy right now. I'm going to pop some popcorn and watch some "MeTV. " LOL!.
It's been about 3 months since I got it. Overall, I've enjoyed my time with the antenna. On most of the channels I watch, the picture is crystal clear, and there are few to no signal interruptions. I've also come across a number of over-the-top ideas. the- I had no idea there were air channels. Because I live in a city, I have access to about 40 channels with good reception that are available to me for free. I can't believe I paid for cable for such a long time. The antenna, when used in conjunction with a few streaming apps, provides a wealth of TV viewing options. br>br>It was a quick delivery. The antenna came in a well-protected package. It was also very simple to set up. The cable was long enough to connect the antenna to my front door and stretch to the television. Because of the low profile and light weight, wall mounting was a breeze. I will gladly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a low-cost, high-quality antenna for their home. I'm planning on ordering another as a birthday present for my girlfriend. It'll be a huge improvement over her current antenna. br>br>Customer feedback from Umusthave was excellent and timely.
