The one I received was approximately 12 inches by 12 inches in size. It didn't look anything like the picture. You can either tape it to the wall/window or hang it on a nail, which I did because it worked better away from the window.
The indoor television antenna can be placed on a table, a wall, or a window (strongly recommended).

I grew up in the country without cable or satellite, relying instead on a large aerial antenna on the roof to receive four different stations (ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS). Based on that experience, I didn't hold out much hope for an indoor antenna, digital HD or otherwise; I plugged it in and placed it on top of the entertainment center, and it picked up nine stations after just one scan. After a lot of experimenting and going in different directions, I was able to get 23 - About a quarter of the way through, the water was crystal clear. The instructions are foolproof, and if you can't read, the pictures will suffice. I had to go to great lengths to understand the meaning of the channels: I had to put it in the window and use the amplifier to get it to work. It experimented with various combinations and setups to see what would work, but it's the only way I can get any channels. One thing to keep in mind with the antenna is that if you don't have a window to put it in, the placement is extremely important. A few feet of distance is all it takes to detect a weak signal. This is something I would strongly advise others to do.
So, a few months ago, I decided that I wanted to get rid of cable in my house and only watch Netflix and Hula Plus, but I was concerned about losing local channels. I did some online research and came across this product; I always check and read other people's reviews before buying something, so I was surprised to see so many positive reviews. I decided to order one of these just a few weeks ago to see if the glowing reviews were accurate. This product is absolutely fantastic, in my opinion! When I got it, I hooked it up to my TV and temporarily taped it to the wall to see if I could get any channels. When my TV began searching, I was surprised to discover that I have access to 40 channels. I have access to all of the local channels, and I believe that the images from the majority of them are clearer than those from DirecTV. So, in short, I'm going to order another one for my basement to see how well it works there, and if it doesn't, I'll always be able to find a new home for it. Needless to say, if you're looking for something that's small, light, and requires no power, you've come to the right place!.
I decided to purchase one after conducting some online research. We were able to set it up in under five minutes once we arrived home. We can now watch ABC, NBC, and CBS, as well as a variety of other channels that we couldn't get with cable. I went to one of those websites where you enter your zip code and get a list of channels that should be available with an antenna in your area. We can receive all of those channels with this device- even the ones with a weak signal- and more. This purchase has been a great success for us. It's hidden behind our television in our house, so we can't see it or the cord.
The antenna is inexpensive, but it's well worth it. I bought it to replace a directional antenna that only picked up about 3/4 of the local channels and required constant readjusting because the signal would frequently break up when I changed channels. I can now receive every local channel in perfect clarity thanks to this antenna. I live in the city, but some local station broadcast antennas are 30 miles away in outlying areas, so this antenna with its 50 mile range was ideal. Also worth noting is that the antenna comes with a super long coaxial cable, so positioning the antenna in the best location should be easy, but if you need a longer cable, the coaxial cable can be disconnected from the antenna.
The antenna was simple to set up and has proven to be extremely reliable. It was purchased because it has a range of up to 50 miles. I used to be able to get around 35 channels at my previous house, but I recently moved and now I can only get 23 channels with this at my new home. The antenna, on the other hand, isn't the issue. When I looked at the map of nearby towers, I discovered that several of them were more than 50 miles away, while the rest were less than 30 miles. So I could have gotten the cheaper model and still have had the same number of channels. So, before you decide which antenna product to buy, I'd recommend checking the distance between the towers near your home. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product's ability to deliver within the stated miles.
We had high expectations for the Airwave because the location of our kitchen TV prevents us from using a cable from the wall jack without stringing it across the living and dining rooms, but it never worked, and I had to return it. This indoor antenna was recommended as a replacement by people's reviews, and we are very happy with it. We were able to put it where we wanted it with good reception, and I was able to hide the cable that connects the antenna to the television by running it above the crown molding for the majority of its run. To make the antenna less noticeable, I painted it. We can receive about 30 broadcast channels, including all of the major networks, and the picture and audio quality is generally excellent. We are pleased with this product in general.
My 90-year-old father recently downsized and the local cable company was unable to provide him with television service for a week. He wished he could watch television again. This antenna was found on Daily Deal and shipped the same day! I plugged it into his digital TV as soon as it arrived, and in less than 10 minutes, I had 30 TV channels with perfect picture quality! He's overjoyed (as am I)!.
It is, however, superior to the vast majority of antennas I have previously purchased. Because I live in a brick house, I may not be able to fully appreciate the antenna's capabilities. I also couldn't get the cord to reach that far because my television is on the opposite side of my room windows. I did notice that the signal on all channels was strongest when I was near a window. However, I do not wish to rearrange my room in order for it to reach the window. I'm happy with the channels I have access to. You could probably get a lot more channels than I did if you lived in a different kind of house, had your television near a window, and lived in a metropolitan area. Others should give it a shot, in my opinion.
