It all depends on where you live and how close you are to a CBS affiliate in your area. While experimenting with different antenna placements inside my house, I was able to pick it up for a brief moment.
Both are broadcast over the air and can be received with an antenna, but availability varies depending on where you live.

Hello, the pole extensions are 15 inches in length. They're not as long as my longest ones, but they're still better. Thank you for your time and consideration.br>

The antenna picks up 13 channels from my basement, just like it says it will. Except when something electrical gets in the way and causes interference, the picture is clear for the most part. Forcing the kids to adjust the antenna, as I used to have to do, is actually quite entertaining.
For my power outage kit, I needed an antenna for watching TV during outages. This one piqued my interest, so I decided to try it out. When I purchased it, I was without power. It picked up almost all of my local channels, despite the fact that I live in close proximity to the stations. It probably wouldn't work as well if you lived out in the country, but it was perfect for me. The antenna, on the other hand, does not have a solid foundation on which to rest. It rests on a narrow, flat piece of plastic that is prone to tipping over. It was clear that a wider base was required to make it more stable. Overall, it's a good antenna that picks up a lot of signals, and I'd recommend it. Just keep in mind that you may need to brace it to keep it upright.
To get reception for my old tube TV, I bought these along with a digital to analog TV receiver box (around $26). In my guest room, I have a type TV. Although the antenna is not connected to my cable system, it receives excellent reception for local free broadcast channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS). Most broadcast towers are more than 25 miles away, but an antenna brings them in without making any noise, and there are a surprising number of other free channels broadcast - Sports, travel, and children's shows are some of my favorite things.
First, there's the positive aspect: The cord is longer than most that come with antennas of this type. It also has elements for receiving both UHF and VHF channels, though the VHF elements are shorter than those on another antenna I own. As a result, reception of VHF channels is limited for stations further away. The disadvantages are as follows: The "base" is basically non-existent. Because the antenna is non-existent, it will not stand up on its own if you want it to sit on a shelf. Second, due to the short VHF elements, this device would likely work much better for those frequencies if it included an amplifier, which it does not.
Wind and snow can easily disrupt TV reception. Do not make a purchase. The cost is $20. top 40- The problem was solved by purchasing an RCA brand ANT310E antenna with telescoping probes and an adjustable loop from a local hardware store.
I was able to receive 16 720p HD channels. ABC, CBS, NBC, The CW, and FOX, as well as their sister networks.
This worked out very well because of the long 9'8" reach cord. All local channels work flawlessly, and I appreciate the long 9 foot 8 inch cord (if my measurements are correct). This was one of the main reasons I chose this antenna over others. It met all of my requirements for a rabbit ears antenna with a reasonable appearance and a long cord. It came with a paper stencil that you used to insert screws into your wall, then you simply ripped the paper off and attached your antenna to the perfectly positioned screws! Wow. It's very simple. (In case anyone was wondering, this item does not come with screws. ) This product performs as expected. I would strongly recommend this product and would purchase it again if the need arose.
I hooked it up to a Westinghouse Roku TV just to see what I'd get, and it turned out to be over 70 channels. Although the reception varies depending on the time of day, it is adequate for watching certain shows when the picture does not break up. Because it has a long cord, you can use one of those removable adhesive wall hooks to hang the antenna on for better reception. It was adequate for the price. Keep in mind that it isn't amplified.
