I have a flip cover case on my 6th generation iPad, and I have to remove it and place it in the clamps so the skinny width is visible. The IPad cannot be held with the cover flipped backwards because the clamps are insufficiently deep. It works fine without the case on, which is fine by me. Because Otter Boxes are so large, I'm not sure if you'll be able to get a good clamp hold. I like how light it is, how many different heights it has, and how simple it is to set up, so it does a great job for me.
I have an iPhone 10 Plus, and the mount works well. If you have a plus-sized iPhone, you won't need an additional mount. Sorry, I don't have any experience with smaller iPhones; however, if you offset the iPhone in the mount, it remains very secure and works perfectly in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
This tablet floor tripod stand was created with entertainment and leisure in mind. You can read, watch, make video calls, take selfies, and record videos with it, among other things.
If I understand your question correctly, the clips that hold the extending or telescopic pole in place and allow the stand to extend vertically are what you're asking about. They work by pushing the clips out with your thumb, raising the pole, and then repositioning the clips to keep the pole at the desired length. It performs admirably. This product is well-made, and the clips keep the pole in place rather than allowing it to slide downward.

My tablet is a Samsing S7 12". I liked how, despite its light weight (1. 25 pounds), the stand appeared to be serious. 1) The supporting mechanism is really a barbell (two ball joints with a small bar between them, but there is no tightening adjustment on the ball joint in the stand, and it quickly sagged to the horizontal position under the weight of the tablet) but there were a few issues: 1) The supporting mechanism is really a barbell (two ball joints with a small bar between them, but there is no tightening adjustment on the ball joint in the stand, and it quickly sagged to the horizontal position That's not a big deal for me because I prefer it to be horizontal, and there's some wiggle room in the other ball joint to tilt it, but it's still bothersome. 2) A plastic threaded surround surrounds the ball joint behind the tablet, which is held in place by a plastic nut. This may be fine if you plan to keep your head in one position, but I expect to be turning my head from vertical to horizontal on a regular basis. Working against the force exerted on the ball joint by the plastic nut is not a good idea. The benefit is that you don't have to loosen a knob to turn the tablet, but their method will cause some play over time, necessitating more nut tightening until the nut can't be tightened any longer or cracks. Simply put, it's not a good long-term investment. the term "design" A metal nut (and possibly a metal surround) is required at the very least. It has been returned.
This is something I really want to like, but it can't support the weight of the large iPad Pro. I use it to listen to music, and the iPad flops all over the place. I wish I had chosen differently because there is no way to tighten the swivel part on the back.
This was purchased for my iPad Pro 12, which has a screen size of 12 inches. 9 with the thick otter box case from the second generation. The images I saw on Amazon weren't great, and no one mentioned whether or not it would fit in a thick case. This is evidence that it is correct. It's extremely useful, and I've used it several times while teaching music lessons. The only thing I don't like about it is how difficult it is to undo the tightening screw. You can unscrew it with a little effort, but if you're using it in a windy location, keep it low with the legs flat down. br>br>Overall, a fantastic purchase.
To me, this is the ideal stand. This stand can be used to watch TV, cook recipes, Zoom, FaceTime, give a presentation, or anything else you can think of. The wide cases with the slot for the Apple Pencil on the 2020 iPad Pro do not open up enough for the iPad.
Not as much bearing. My initial review can be found below. The seller contacted me after I finished writing it and offered to replace the stand with a new one. The bearing system on this one is much more sophisticated. Because the case adds too much extra weight to the bearing, I'm going to use it without it. br>br>The stand and expanding segments are fantastic and stable. . . the ball bearing is a nice touch. Not in the least. It has a lot of inconsistency. If you tighten the wing nut all the way down, you'll need pliers to remove it, and even then, the wing nut will be loose, causing your tablet to droop. br>br>Excellent idea. . . but Returning it in order to try something new.
It was better than the first one I bought, which couldn't handle it because the stand didn't have enough weight, which appears to be a problem. I'd like to be able to bend or reach in any direction I need it to without it falling. This one wasn't up to the task, but it was at least strong enough to hold the tablet. So it can still keep the tablet in place and prevent it from falling, but it can't bend.
This tripod has been used to make video calls with our daughter and friends. It was a substitute for the one that our daughter had ordered for us. That one broke where the plastic holder connects to the metal stand, which appears to be a weak spot on nearly all of these stands. The first one, on the other hand, lasted about three years. This stand is much lighter, but it appears to be more stable because it is a tripod. If it's extended to full height or used in a high-traffic area, I'd be concerned about stability. It's very simple to change the height. The legs fold up, making it simple to store out of sight, but the footprint is small enough that it can be left out. This stand has met our expectations so far.
As an online instructor, I wanted to make videos that gave my students "academic moments" in a natural and comfortable way. When combined with the latest teleprompter app and a little practice, the Lamicall Tablet Floor Tripod Stand was the ideal tool; I had tried several other units but ended up with shaky images and comical attempts. The Tablet came at a very affordable price. It was simple to set up and adjust, stayed stable, and was simple to put away when I was finished.
