Questions & Answers
I use it with an iPad mini and a kindle, and it works great. The iPad Pro is a little larger but manageable, and I'm not familiar with the A7.
Unfortunately, the answer is no. It isn't secure enough to draw or write on.

My assumptions were incorrect. My tablet is extremely secure, even when it is in its case, and the stand is very sturdy and large enough to hold my tablet. It has grips on the bottom to prevent it from sliding around on counters. I purchased the stand because holding my phone and tablet has caused me to develop a hand condition, and I needed something portable and sturdy to hold my tablet so that I didn't have to. I was looking for a holder like this, and this is it. It's something I'd strongly advise you to try.
My iPad Air has a 10" display. It looks great on this stand, and I like how the holder moves up and down (back and forth?). ) to see a variety of different views depending on what I'm doing. I also have the iPad in a cover, which allows it to sit on the stand while still in the cover, which is convenient because I don't always take it out of the cover and put it back in, etc. I keep it by my bedside and watch a calm, low-impact TV show to help me relax and fall asleep. The stand does a fantastic job of keeping the tablet secure in the cover!.
It's very light, charges while on the stand, and comes in a nice bright "pink" (rose gold) color. Damage (scratching) is prevented by a layer of protection (shown in photos).
It is cute, it works great, and it is compact. Because I don't use cases, I appreciate the padding on the holder. I'd purchase it again.
It's where I keep my iPad and my portable monitor. It feels solid, and I haven't had any issues with it so far, even on carpet. br>I'd like to draw attention to one in particular- This isn't so much a criticism as it is an observation. That's a pain to stow away in a bag. I have to Tetris it in there when I take it to work and when I travel. That said, this is the easiest to adjust and the most stable of the ones I've tried so far.
The stand came wrapped to protect it from scratches during shipment, and the packaging was sturdy and protected the product. In each corner of the base, there are four rubber pads that provide anti-slip protection. When on a smooth surface, it has a non-slip function, so it will stay put. Even with the case we have for our iPad, the back rest and cradle of the stand have the same rubber feature that helps keep the tablet secure. The stand can be adjusted and rotated to provide the best viewing angle for videos or reading. This product left a lasting impression on me, and I highly recommend it!.
It's sturdy and smooth as butter. It can also accommodate my iPhone 12 as well as my Kindle Fire. When I'm watching a video, I won't have to hold my phone up! And if you have a tablet with a separate keyboard, this would be ideal; with rubber feet on the bottom, I won't have to worry about it scratching my table. Highly recommended. br>br>.
Most of the time, I use this in the kitchen to follow recipes on my tablet or phone. It doesn't take up much room and keeps my electronics off the counter. It comes in handy the most when I'm using my phone. It can also be used with a tablet, but it is less stable. You'll have to play around with the adjustable angle a little to make sure it's balanced with the tablet.
