Purchases should be avoided

After reading the reviews, I decided to purchase this to use with my Fire Stick. It doesn't work on any of the fire sticks I have. One of my fire sticks has a kinked cord that has rendered it useless. All of the other fire stick cords in my house work on the one with the bent cord, but the one I got from here doesn't.

So I went ahead and placed an order. Because I didn't need this product, I promptly returned it the same day it arrived, in its original packaging. The package is still sealed and unopened. I only got a measly $3 in return. BEWARE OF THE RETURNER!.

There should be a longer cable included

I really like my Firestick, and I really like Amazon's customer service. This cord, on the other hand, should be 6 feet in length. br>If you have an older television with no (or a weak) USB port on the back, the included cable will not reach the nearest wall socket. You must order one separately and ensure that it has enough power to operate your device. br>In my case, the Firestick stopped working completely and, after troubleshooting with a customer service agent, it was determined that my Firestick had gone bad and required replacement.

It is not compatible with the Firestick

When my original cord broke (cat chewed through it, not Amazon's fault), I bought this to use with my Firestick. This is not compatible with the Firestick. It wouldn't turn on no matter how I tried to plug it in. I don't know much about power capacity or what it takes to run specific programs and units, but this appears to be inadequate. Shouldn't be marketed as a Firestick cord if it doesn't work with it and can't power the console!.

This is exactly what it says it is: a power cord for your firestick. There's nothing about it that distinguishes it from a standard micro charger, and I ordered it because I wasn't aware of this at the time. Aside from that, it's exactly like it says it is.

To use the fire stick, this was exactly what I needed. We accidentally mixed up cords and plug-ins and discovered that you need the original Amazon Fire Stick cord and plug-in to get it to work.
