Selected User Reviews For Arteck 2.4G Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo Stainless Steel Ultra Slim Full Size Keyboard Keyboard and Ergonomic Mice for Computer Desktop PC Laptop and Windows 10/8/7 Build in Rechargeable Battery
It was purchased for an emergency home office during the COVID quarantine. Great combination, and after using it I was surprised it didn't come with a higher price tag. It's pretty stylish, and I like the soft click feature. Since the keys are shallow, I prefer that to the clunky keys of the past. The combo is definitely worth checking out.
The thin design and metal backing of the keys, and the way they feel, appeal to me. As a user of this keyboard on a slippery wooden desk, this is the first keyboard that keeps its place in the desk. The keyboard was easy to set up, and it really is, less the space bar, one of the quietest I've owned. The keys are generally quite quiet, but for some reason the space bar makes quite a bit of noise, compared to other keyboards I've used. I think this is one of the nicest keyboards I have ever In the same way, the mouse is also very.
I will update after I have used the replacement for a few weeks for my rating. (Original
) This keyboard and mouse were really attractive to me. The mouse has been great for me as I use it for my home office Instead of using the Arteck keyboard to write this review, I am using my laptop. Earlier this morning, I was typing a document and everything was working fine, until the keystroke (r) typed er, followed by the keystroke (t) which turned off the screens (my laptop has dual monitors). Neither does it put it to sleep nor does it behave like Windows - Whenever I try to start it, it just goes black and locks up (Windows) I have L set to lock, but it shows the Once the keyboard stops working, nothing can be done Both the Arteck and the laptop keyboard were locked. In order to unlock the laptop and save my work, I needed to bring up the on-screen lock menu Using the keyboard on the screen (Windows) The ctrl key The keyboard worked fine for about a couple of days. I then plugged it in (and put in my pin) and restarted and saved. Charging the keyboard had no effect. This is reproducible (I really want to like this keyboard). My plan is to keep the mouse and get a different keyboard (a wired one, likely).
Its battery runs for an extended period of time, the mouse is sensitive, comfortable to use, and it was pretty easy to set up - The system had to be rebooted once, I think because the keyboard settings were confused with the language of my foreign keyboard. My only complaint with this combo (and the only reason it gets four stars) is that the keys have very little travel, making the keyboard less comfortable to type with than my laptop keyboard. That said, considering I only paid $30 for it, I do not think it is a big deal. You'll have a hard time finding a more durable, lightweight keyboard at a better price. However, I just wanted to mention that although I have only had this keyboard for a few weeks, this is actually my second Arteck keyboard my previous one lasted forever, but I sadly lost it during a move. My wife's work keyboard (just in a different color) of a more reputable company looks exactly the same as the one I have (from a poorer company but the same color scheme) The brand is well-known. My guess is In China, all of them are manufactured at the same factory.
Last year, I bought the stand-alone Arteck keyboard as a part of my home office. Since I have been using the Arteck keyboard in nearly 4 decades of computing, I have bought another combo to replace those in my office at my work, and another to take to Japan to replace those in my home office. This is because I believe it is the best keyboard I have ever used. This sleek keyboard has a very modern design, with a polished stainless steel back that curves at the front to provide excellent contrast with the matte black keys and a strong foundation when used. The keys are chiclet type, so even non-technical users will have no problems using them. Typist who is very quiet and touch typist. There are clearly visible LEDs to indicate the Num Lock and Caps Lock functions of the keyboard and it has all of the features of much more expensive keyboards. It is equally useful with a battery life indicator that is both clear and easy to read. Thanks to the lithium battery, the rechargeable mouse's battery life is excellent, and top-up charging is easy with the USB cable that is provided. It's ergonomic and easy to use, and the rechargeable battery is an excellent power source. I do a lot of graphic design work, and I also do a lot of mousing. Even at the end of the day, despite mild arthritis and advancing age, I do not experience pain in either my mouse hand or wrist! There is a slight noise difference when it is operating compared to the Logitech mouse it is replacing but this is countered by the ability to switch between 800/1000/1200 DPI settings instantly. I only have one complaint about the size and location of the mouse LED on the front of the mouse, hidden under the scroll wheel. In any case, once it is known where it is, it can always be seen when needed. The price is excellent for this keyboard and mouse combo and it is worth five stars.
It is, however, too low in my opinion. The mouse that comes with it is also so low, I have to use my previous Logitech wireless mouse, which is also lower than the old traditional one. I wish it had the back feet that flip out, raising the keyboard to a higher position like the old traditional keyboard. Since I'm using both of my USB ports, I have to plug the cord in twice I didn't anticipate spending more money in order to get my device to work. I now need to purchase an additional USB port device. We were at home while the "Shelter in Place" order was in effect. That's too bad! Since I have to use it for at least 8 hours, I am not sure how long the battery will last since I just received it today. One day per week. My review will be updated later if I can. The following has been updated as of Three months are only a few days away from the end of the battery life. This is an impressive statistic since I do use it more than 8 hours daily. One day per week. Nearly 3 months before the end of the contract, a few times the power light flickered, as if to indicate that the power was running There is no need to worry about charging. In my case, I just let it run would recommend it strongly to anyone and everyone Again, I would buy this product.
