All of the reviews I read on Amazon for the OEM Case for the Wireless Pro Drive said there was no room for the power cords once the drive was placed in the case, so I bought it for my Western Digital Wireless Pro 2TB drive. This is not an issue with the Lacdo USB CD DVD Writer case; there is ample room for the power / data cable and the power adapter, in fact, more room than is required to protect the drive; I highly recommend this case to protect your valuable drives.

I bought the Lacdo USB CD DVD Writer Blu-ray Player. Ray & On the same day, I purchased an External Hard Drive Protective Storage Carrying Case as well as two additional cases. The Lacdo case is the sturdiest, best constructed, and will protect my electronics the best over time of the three cases I purchased; it also cost the least. I will be returning the other two cases and purchasing two more Lacdo cases.

0 device that was not connected to the computer. My new computer didn't come with a CD/DVD drive, so I needed one. Soft materials or neoprene are used in a large number of these types of cases. That didn't seem like enough protection to me for a sensitive drive, and it's not something I'd want to keep connected to my computer all the time. As a result, it appeared that a more durable case was the way to go. br>I'm really glad I went with this case. It perfectly accommodates my CD/DVD player! There's enough room for the drive's connecting cord and a couple of disks you might want to keep with it; overall, it's a good case that I recommend.

Cyberlink's promotional software is all there is to it. The DVD player/writer performs admirably. So far, everything seems to be working fine. I like how light the drive is when I'm traveling. I haven't tried it out with our Samsung Smart TV yet to see if the TV mode works. br>The setup was excessively complicated. Partly due to LG's failure to disclose that the driver's DVD has nothing to do with the driver's functionality or with LG, and partly due to Microsoft's release of a different VLC version on the app store.
1. The implied/stated instructions are to install the software to use the drive, which is NOT necessary, and the Cyberlink DVD is full of promotional software for a free PowerDVD player trial for one month, after which they are trying to charge to use it. There is no need for this. br>I recommend not installing the disc and instead discarding it (LG customer service confirmed that the disc is purely promotional software when I called).
2. THE DRIVE DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY SOFTWARE; LG will direct you to VLC to play content. It's not a big deal because I already use VLC, but this time it was my new computer with Windows 10. br>**Tip for Windows 10: Instead of using the Microsoft Store app, go to www. vlc. org to download the VLC media player. videolan. This arrived in a timely manner and was exactly what I had hoped for. It was necessary for me to store my external DVD drive because it appears that laptop manufacturers do not want to include DVD drives in their products. Call me old-fashioned, but I have too many DVDs to give away and not enough money to 'digitalize' my collection. This is an attractive case for the job. It's more durable and protective than just a sleeve, which I like.

The nice thing about this case is that it has plenty of space for storing a few pre-made items. In those situations where you can "burn" the data to a bootable USB flash drive, I made DVDs or several DVD R/W platters, which fits my LG DVD drive like a glove. This is the case you need if you have a portable DVD drive and want to avoid having to replace it too soon.

For the money, this is a fantastic purchase! This is a high-quality product; it's a nice, sturdy hard case with plenty of space for your external DVD player. I bought this product because it has a lot of room and padding for the device itself, as well as two extra pockets for cords and cases (only CD cases fit, not DVD cases). I assumed my device would have a removable cord and that I would need the extra room for it, but it doesn't, so I guess I'm stuck with a great product with plenty of room to grow into! This product comes highly recommended!!.
