I couldn't tell from a visual inspection, but it appears to be more metallic on the inside. Out of curiosity, I placed ohmmeter probes close together on both the inside and outside, and both showed infinite resistance. If metal is present, it may be embedded in the mylar. They do, however, appear to be visually similar to more expensive name brand items I've ordered from traditional electronic retailers.

Hard Drives with a diameter of one inch are available! These were purchased primarily for the purpose of shipping three. I had some inch hard drives that I was selling, and they worked perfectly for that because they were the right size for the drives. I also sent out 2 additional packages. inch drives in them as well, and when I sent these out, I simply folded the bags in half and taped them up, and they fit perfectly! br>br>It's been over 30 days since the drives were delivered to their new owners, and no one has reported an issue to me, so I'd say they're working fine! I'm also using these to store some hard drives that I don't want to get damaged, and they seem to be working fine. br>br>Highly recommended for smaller items!.

My PCs have hot swap bays, and I keep hard drives on hand to swap in and out depending on the files I require. To keep them contained, I needed some zippered antistatic bags, and these fit the bill perfectly. If you don't have backups, losing one hard drive can be disastrous, so keep them in antistatic bags. If you have any spares, use them to protect your data. There are five different routes to take. Even if it's an old hard drive, keep it on hand as a backup. These are going to do a fantastic job of protecting it. And, best of all, they don't come in open-ended bags like most drives do. They'll be more convenient to store because the drive won't fall out.

This is fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, fantastic These bags are a perfect fit for the hard drive. The ziplock seal gives you the impression that your hard drive is safe and secure - I've had to tape, fold, crease, and pinch other bags for the past 20 years and it's never resulted in a nice secure seal. These are the hard drive bags that you see in movies when a guy pulls out a case with hard drive bags in it.

A 5" will also fit, but there will be limited space. br>The material isn't too thin, but it isn't of the same quality as an original hard drive. However, it is sufficient for getting from point A to point B. I can't expect too much for the money.
They're ideal for moving SD cards and USB drives from one location to another. Gives the impression that the data is safe.
Hard disk drives can be sealed with these. It's a tight fit, but it won't tear and the bag can be sealed. That is all there is to it.
Perfectly suitable for 5" hard drives. Excellent for securing three. Static discharge can harm hard drives up to 5" in size.
