It works great, it's hard to believe anyone would need one of these in this day and age, but I own an amateur radio that relies on COM port connections to operate

It would not match the genders on the Serial cable I had. That is why we need a small adapter like this one.

I don't even know where to start. There are holes on both sides of the sign I have no idea As long as you have a cable like the one I had, with screws at both ends, you can't put it It means that when you plug this into your computer, the wire will pull down on the adapter, creating a very flimsy connection to your This could be an issue with my particular configuration, but the main issue with these adapters is they will fall apart. After being connected and never switched, the adapter had to be disconnected due to a change in wiring, and upon disconnecting it split into all its individual pieces. I'm sorry to say that this product is terrible.
