We are providing a versatile XLR to 1/4" jack gender converter.
There are converters here that convert a 1/4" balanced signal to an XLR balanced signal. I'm not sure what mixer you have, but they do the same thing. Using a stereo output won't work if the output you're coming from is a stereo output. The stereo output is similar to the headphone output in which the left and right signals are located on the tip of the plug, one on the ring (the smaller center section) and the ground or negative of those two is located on the sleeve (the longer part of the plug).
In some cases, these adapters will be needed to connect your snake to the board if you are using a snake and a sound board from the same manufacturer. For example, we have a sound board from Mackie with 1/4 inputs but our snake ends are XLR. You can use these adapters with our snake so that it becomes compatible with the board through Converting XLR to 1/4.

This adapter is ready to use with any cable that you are going to use it with. My guess is that, in a few billion years, aliens who land or whatever might not find much evidence of humanity, but these adaptors are almost certain to remain. You can pretty much expect your electronics to work just like the day you bought them. You have to be tough to beat them. This ensures that the lock is very solid. I'm sorry, but. DON'T TRY THIS! As a result of an error, Amazon sent me the wrong adapter. The problem was not the fault of GLS since they ship by truckload to Amazon and Amazon takes care of the rest. This makes the parcels arrive quickly and makes it possible to use Amazon's excellent return policy, etc. You should take a close look at what you You should ensure that you get the balanced or unbalanced versions you want. My package arrived unbalanced from the TRS versions in January 2019, and I did not notice that until the end of April that I had been sent the unbalanced TS versions. My cables are an inch or two long, so the balanced output on the interface wasn't as desirable as it could have been. I suspect that this speaks to how good their TS versions are. Although Amazon is a bit restrictive about its return period, you may try reaching out directly to GLS if you receive the wrong set and aren't able to spot it within 30 days. In spite of the fact that I didn't want to place them on the spot, GLS managed to make me a satisfied customer with very quick response time. You will be surprised by the quality of what they do when you get your hands on these adapters.
I switched from passive to active PA speakers. I use a Soundcraft Notebook mixer. I thought I was all set for a gig if I had a Female 1/4" TRS to Female XLR Adapter. It was only after I discovered I needed the opposite OUTPUTS that I realized my mistake. Luckily I had a Swiss Army of adapters and got through the concert. I've been using passive speakers since I was a kid, and that's how that word came about. I am happy with the quality of these four GLS Male TRS 1/4" to XLR Male adapter cables. I will be able to use both active mains and monitors with them. It's great to hear from you, and I am sure I will find a way to use the Female 1/4" TRS to Female XLR adapter. It is my recommendation that others should learn from my mistakes and use these adapters.
Using a multimeter, I verified that all three XLR pins are correctly connected to TRS on the 1)4" Jack. Using this connector combo for balanced stereo outputs on XLR cable is also very effective.

This adapter is perfect for my PreSonus R32 rack, which only has TRS output connectors. My cables are all XLR, so I was thrilled to find this adapter. There are some reason why high quality, reliable audio adapters are exceedingly difficult to find It's the right thing to do at GLS. These cables and adapters are reasonably priced and exceptionally reliable. Since I started using them a few years ago, I have not had one fail.
