No, I do not believe that is true. Most cell phones use micro or mini usb connections, so the adapter is 4 pin firewire to 6 pin firewire. A firewire connection is unlikely to be found on your phone. In addition, on newer computers, only USB 2 is used instead of firewire. 0 and 3 are new numbers. There are no connections available. I hope this has been of assistance.

This is an excellent product for converting from a 6-volt battery to a 12-volt battery. The 4-pin connections found on most desktop computers, as well as the pin connections found on most desktop computers, Most laptop computers have a pin on the back. I looked for a 4-bedroom house in my neighborhood. pin to 4- I tried everything I could think of, including using a pin cable, but it didn' The majority of the electronic stores I visited didn't have 4-inch televisions. pin/4- only 4-pin cables pin/6- I needed this one-of-a-kind adapter, so I ordered it. However, I thought it was a bit pricey for just one connector. Initially, it appears that you will receive two connectors, which is exactly what I expected based on the picture. Wrong! There is only one adapter included with the purchase of this item. It does, however, work well and can be used to connect a portable hard drive to a laptop, particularly if yours has the 4-in-1 card reader. Like my Dell Inspirion 1526, it has a pin connector. In addition, the 4- The use of a pin is required for the connection of most Mini-computers. Camcorders with digital video (DV) (four) pin) to your laptop computer's 4-in-1 card reader pin. Simply plug the cable into the adapter, and then plug the adapter into your laptop. and you're good to go! However, when compared to the alternative, the price isn't bad. It Is Effective!.
This adapter is shown as a plug-in device in the illustration. a four-pin type adapter - What I got was a foot-long IEEE 1394 FireWire cable. a lengthy cable- adapter of the type br>br>The item I received worked perfectly fine, but it is made of a very thin, fragile-looking wire. br>br>I had specifically ordered this product as pictured so that I could use the sturdy FireWire wire that came with my harddrive and reduce the amount of space required to cable up my harddrive. br>br>I hope the received wire survives the mobility (transporting, setting up, breaking down, and transporting again) requirements I have for my harddrive.
If I could give two stars, I would. I would give it a five-star rating. This is barely deserving of a three-star rating. This device worked fine at first, but after a few uses, the connection between the 4 pin and my laptop began to loosen to the point where I had to prop up the adapter to keep the weight from pulling it down and causing the connection to be lost. I used it to move videos from a mini-DVD player to my computer. My laptop is hooked up to a digital video camera. The transfer went smoothly as long as I held it up.
The product performed as expected, but the connection on the laptop was extremely shaky. I had to secure it with tape.
(It's less expensive to keep it than it is to return it!.
Aside from that, it appears to be well protected against RF.
Unless you're transferring data from an old computer, it's out of date.
