Questions & Answers

Could someone tell me more about mid band? what are their frequency ranges and will they work with Docsis ?

The midband range is 109 to 170 mhz. These things operate in the range of 12 to 40 mhz. As with the up-scan, this is what you have The coaxial cable used by docsis cable modems cannot be used with docsis cable modems because of the stream frequencies.

Can I assume that I was right to assume I would require two Should we have one at the router/coax connection and one at the location of the remote access?

Yes, you're right. There is an exception if your router is connected via HPNA coax. Modem/routers that are part of the ATT Uverse service come with this feature.

This is like a MoCA adapter, right? It's time for me to get a MoCA adapter for my Tivo Mini, but I'm not willing to spend $100 on one. ?

I'm Chris speaking to you as Emily. I will try my best to be succinct, and to explain what this device is used for in the high country of Colorado, and what I do with it. Despite its limited function, the trendnet can act as a moca adapter In addition, as D. pointed out. It cannot be the case that the frequencies overlap, Heatherington says In other words, while it may work for some applications, if it were up to me, I'd look at Netgear's Here's the link Visit the website. I am extending my internet from one ranch home to another over 1 / 4 mile from a high speed switch and router. My device is powered by a solar panel. The array is powered by microwave power. *br>Online transmission works flawlessly, but with tv transmission there may be difficulties if any "blocked" or proprietary channels fail to work, and when it comes to the midterm elections it may also prove problematic. A TiVo device may not support the TV frequency for viewing anything via the device. It would do more justice to your electronics and your wallet if you purchased a "MoCA" box so that you are sure that it will be able to be plugged in as close as possible. It's important to spend as little time playing as possible, and not spend much time trying to make it 'work' with your hardware when it may not be compatible with it. The following may be of help.

This is my first time using MoCA The connection is fast
5/5

It's my first time using MoCA, so I appreciate the fast connection. Although I cannot comment on the ratings, I am a firm believer in MoCA. This is the option for you if you understand that a wired connection will always have more bandwidth than something like an extender. All you need to do is ensure you connect to the right network and set up your computers correctly. How to set up a MoCA network on my home Coax network
For those wondering if you are MoCA-compliant or have a MoCA compliant network at your home, the adapters are MoCA-compliant. MoCA makes it possible to talk to each other. It follows that In terms of the environment, MoCA can coexist in the home with "compatible" services, or without any services at all. If it uses the “non-intrusive method”, it can't coexist in the home The following services are compatible
Compatible Those devices with an Ethernet port that are not compatible with FiOS/Spectrum or Verizon Fios You can choose from Direct TV, Dish Network, Satellite TV, and AT&T Internet service from T/AT&T A T Ue Here is an easy-to-follow guide to help you set up your Verse version. I'll try to save you time by posting it here. It follows that Even if you're still having trouble, you can look at the installation guide for more information. The first step is to complete the following A cable between one TMO's Ethernet port and the Ethernet port of the other TMO is connected Connect the Ethernet port on your network to the 311C. The second step is to clarify A coaxial cable should be connected to the MoCA port on the TMO You need to connect the coaxial cable of your house to the 311C. The third step is to When a TMO is in a remote location- A coaxial cable can be connected from the TMO port on 311C to the USB port on 312C You need to connect the coaxial cable of your house to the 311C. The fourth step is to verify everything is in order. From the Ethernet port on the TMO, hook up an Ethernet cable I had a NAS and gaming/streaming setup upstairs that I needed a more reliable data rate. I connected my 311C to the Ethernet port of a network device. Even using mesh, WiFi wasn't cutting it, and powerline wasn't anywhere close to meeting my needs. With these I am now getting below gigabit speeds (I expected this to be much slower), but still getting high 800-grade to low 900 mbps. The rate of reliability is 100%. A great product, solved a big problem, and was very easy to install. Recommended if you have a router in one room, and need an Ethernet connection in another room (for a gaming console, switch, or AP), but don't want to run Ethernet through the rooms. Set up MoCA 2 on one of these. By adding a pair of coaxial adapters at each end of the cable, you've just created an Ethernet network from your coaxial cable.

It's what we needed for the coax wiring in our home
5/5

"Internet is in all rooms" - this is what our house was arranged for. This means that there is a coaxial cable in each room but no equipment attached to it. As it had been set up by AT&T, our router was located in the living room In the basement, a nid resided. There was nothing connected to the coax and the wireless signal was terrible throughout the house. There were three coaxial ports in every room, each leading to the basement, but none were connected. I found that these adapters worked perfectly. There is one of each in the upstairs office to connect the computers to the coaxial cable, a coaxial splitter in the basement to reroute the cable from the bedrooms to the living room, and an adapter in the living room to connect the coaxial cable The only thing I had to do was plug these into the coax/ethernet line and the whole house would have internet. I had to return things or purchase additional parts as there was no set up. All you have to do is connect. We were able to solve the problem for a lower price than the alternative of changing our internet provider or paying someone to rewire our home for Ethernet.

It was great to be able to wire up the device without running new cables
5/5

The house was a large one that only had 4 pre-existing The main junction box was outside, and new cables between rooms/floors in the building were difficult to run since the main junction box was wired for coax. Using these Trendnet ethernet over coaxial boxes, we were able to get an Ethernet wireless access point up to the 2nd floor without running unnecessary We tuned the coax to splice a drop of coax in the basement (where internet is supplied from) and made sure the drop was in the right place On the second floor, there is a room where the main router is connected to the coax. We connected the adapters in the correct configuration, and after a few minutes, they started finding each other and locating each other. The aimesh access point has been rock solid without any problems for 30 days straight and allows for wired backhaul to the internet connection from the aimesh access point. Utilizing two Asus RT-AC68U ethernet adapters to connect to this access point at 800 Mbps, and Asus RT-AC68Us to connect to the trendnet adapters These aimesh routers are model AX92U and AX92UU.

A great product that is reliable and stable
5/5

I was able to get a wired connection from AT&T with no problems A T Ue I connected the U-Verse router (we watch satellite TV) on the first floor to my home office on the second floor, and only had to purchase one adapter to do so since the U-Verse connects via wireless. An HPNA end-point can also be attached to a Verse router The point is. I've been using it for six months without a hitch and without needing to reset it, and I'm quite pleased with it. Although I would love to get the MoCA speeds, satellite is by far the most affordable TV option for me, and I won't waste my time with "giga" networks It is not necessary for me to have "high speed" internet, and I do not want to spend the $50 extra a month on The current speed I'm able to get for HD streaming is 50Mbps. In other reviews, I have commented that HPNA (HomePNA) adapters are terrific for AT&T A T Ue The MoCA (HPNA) and the Verse (HPNA) are satellite television providers. As of now, Verse uses HPNA adapters, which these adapters connect to, whereas satellite uses a higher frequency MoCA (500-MHz) In order to coexist, the two standards must be compatible, so the two can coexist. HPNA will not work with digital cable like Charter, Cox and TimeWarner, because both of these companies use the same low frequency range (12-16 MHz). In some cases, they interfere with one another (e. g. , 45 Mhz). There is a slowdown in HPNA (50Mb-120Mb) The case of MoCA (200Mb) is stronger than the case of MoCA (200Mb) HPNA has a 1Gb bandwidth, but HPNA can move data a much greater distance (4000 feet) than MoCA (300 feet). In most cases, people have to choose between one method or another depending on their internet connection Provider of television services A satellite or a U-V HPNA should be used by people with home network connections MoCA should be used by those with digital cable modem connections. Lastly, even though both of them are RG-compliant, neither As RG-59 is a very old cable, MoCA will not reach its full speed potential unless it is wired with much more modern RG-66 cable With a coaxial splitter capable of at least 1500 MHz frequencies (MoCA 1), this system would need 6 pairs of coaxial cables. A CPU that runs at 1675 Mhz or higher should be preferred (MoCA 2). The number zero).
