This device provided power and data as well as split a 30W PoE+ link into two 15W PoE links for an Axis camera and an Ubiquiti access point using a PoE+ link. As expected, it worked perfectly. In the normal course of things, I would not design a new network around a device like this, but on an existing network this can be very helpful. The device was returned to normal operation a few minutes after the switch was purposefully turned off, then on again. Although it may be taken for granted, there is a similar device being sold on Amazon (it is white) that.
Since I only had one LAN cable running to a TV location, I needed two connections - so I bought one of these. For the smart TV and the TiVO box, separate ones are needed. To power this splitter, I only used POE power. It is just Ethernet that powers both devices, so POE is not necessary. A switch and another outlet are more expensive than using an extension cord.

Out of the box, the first one isn't working. I hate it. As a replacement for another similar product that had failed numerous times, I bought these. If the first one doesn't work out of the box, this is not a good sign. On both sides, the lights come on when I switch on the switch, but I can't get them to come on when I plug in a camera that only uses 3 watts. Not a thing. Using both the 4 port and 2 port versions of the product has not resulted in any limitations or power losses on my PoE Currently, I use the two ports for a Unifi Nano Access Point and four 4k IP cameras, each of which is located at a different location. From a single PoE port on a switch, I am using four ports for four 5mp IP Fisheye cameras. The signal did not drop or the power was not impacted.
To try to run two cameras without running a second ethernet wire, I hooked up the camera to my PoE port. However, the output lights were flashing but the cameras were never able to turn on.
It did what it was advertised to do. At the end of a long run, I was planning on adding a second PoE camera. It would be easier than adding more injectors or cables. The input and output stickers were on the wrong side of the equipment.
By using this POE repeater, I was able to connect 2 cameras with one network cable, which was 50meters away, and it worked great and was convenient. This kind of transmission is very stable at 100Mbps! It was perfect, and I highly recommend it.
With this cable, I was able to power both a POE access point and POE security camera. I found it to be very helpful!.
