An inexpensive 4 port POE switch is what I would recommend. It is not expensive to maintain them and they don't require management.

The camera is a 5 Megapixel dome POE camera from Amcrest. There is no problem. All you need to do is plug it in. It is not necessary to configure anything. The status lights would be nice if they came on more often.
I hope it will keep working for a while. has only one green LED that indicates that it is plugged into the wall and powered on.

Purchasing a Product that perfectly meets the needs of the application is the only way to go. It is so easy to install that even a caveman could do.
POE cameras use Power over Network to provide power over the network cable. Since the router I had did not support POE, I had to use a different router.
It did not properly power the device. However, the WiFi access point would flicker intermittently, even though the power requirement was correct. It turned out that the problem was an extension cord that I connected instead of an extension cord.
