As an irony, I am also using it with a NUC and DS 1819+. As far as I remember, it hasn't been rated in that regard but I have been using it 24/7 since November with great I like the way it works, despite it being hot. You landed on a good one! Glad to see you liked it. Before I bought the original, I was unable to use it. I wish you good
Drivers for Windows and Linux can be downloaded from the support area of the sonnettech web site. MacOS uses its own native drivers.
My first encounter with an Intel NUC was through an article in the newspaper. Although, after checking it out, I discovered it has a Thunderbolt 3 port, so I guess it's okay I think it should work as long as you can download drivers for standard Win 10 machines on the Intel NUC. Bob

My Alienware 17 R5 has a network adapter for a solo, so I purchased it to upgrade my home network to 10G speeds. According to the spec, this device does achieve the 10G speed. With this I'm also connected to a 10G UniFi switch via cat6, and that switch is in turn connected to my server with a 10G nic that has an M. There are two SSD drives on my network, and you can see in the attached video that a 15GB file transferred across it in less than 15 seconds. Please bear in mind that your speed might only be as fast as other bottlenecks in your system, as most hard disks only reach a maximum of 150 MB/sec and even standard SSDs reach a maximum of A non-profit organization During the raid. SSD drives are extremely fast, and they can read and write data at or above the transfer rate of 1Gb/sec. On average, the device has a slightly warm running temperature, but during long periods of high speed data transfer, it can get very However, I have not experienced any problems after two weeks of use. My experience with this product is great, and I highly recommend it for laptop users, as a standard 10G nic is more cost-effective than a PCIe interface for desktop applications.
If you don't plan on transferring a lot of data, this thing is fine, but you can't use it for an extended period of time, and it constantly overheats and disconnects if you start transferring large amounts It is of little use if it can't keep running as long as it transfers data. You should be able to transfer a large amount of data on 10GB with the 1GB NIC. I would look elsewhere if you plan on transferring a large amount of data on 1GB.
The Proxmox VE and Ubuntu 18 native integration works flawlessly.
Though it appears to run faster than gigabit speeds, this thing generates enough heat to make you feel uncomfortable. There are no plastic parts in the chassis, so it appears to be solidly constructed of metal. The two computers were connected by a crossover cable that gave me 200 MBps consistently and 300 MBps at peak. As part of our office upgrade, we'll be getting a 10GbE switch as well as servers and RAID 10 SSD drives that can really push the speed. In the event that I find out more, I will report back.
The program runs very smoothly and has a fantastic performance. Like any 10GB Ethernet NIC, it runs hot, so you should be careful not to burn your hands, however, it comes in a lengthy and flexible Thunderbolt cable that makes it very pleasant to use. In terms of connectivity, I wanted one that had an integrated cable and this looks pretty well put together since the cable is detachable with just a couple of screws to remove. You don't have to worry about the adapter cracking in there so you don't have to worry about the adapter being In order to get the Aquantia drivers installed, you need to get the Aquantia driver setup files. However, when I try to connect to CS, I get the following error message The adapter can be used with a gaming laptop to enable GO matchmaking. It sounded like the same problem as I had with an Aquantia card on my desktop. I fixed it on my desktop, so I will try to find a solution. I think it has nothing to do with the product since there is no other issue. Unfortunately, that is the only problem I have. While the price is a bit higher than I would have liked, it does work pretty well both on my MacBook Pro and my Windows laptop.
Although they are neither cheap nor expensive, 10G adapters are still quite pricey for their usage. One day, you'll all be able to get them at the same price as 1G now. Ours are mounted on the back upper part of the frame. After removing the rubber housing, the arm of 16x iMacs has been treated with VHB The pads on the feet. the scraped strips are pressed against the strip of VHB for 1 minute, they become permanently attached. Fast and consistent 10G speeds on the FS S5850 We have all our devices connected to a 48TQ switch. In the event of a problem, I will look for a new firmware.
This error occurs when a cisco nexus 5k switch with 10 Gigabit transceiver is used.
