I think it is due to the stock LCD's abysmal resolution of 1366x768. In any case, it makes a huge difference, and even though the computer was provided by the company, I think it was a great investment. Despite the fact that the screen quality appears normal and free of defects, we will have to It's just the viewing angle that I have a problem with. It has an extremely narrow beam angle compared to other LED technologies. Yet this LCD is full HD, so comparing this to an ordinary LCD is misguided. if you search online through Google for a matte screen with FHD resolution, you can find a touchscreen that matches this Despite searching Amazon, I did not find it there. My recommendation is to avoid it. You won't find any gimmicks here.
There is an issue with the bezel You can snap the bezel on with a credit card if the glue on the old screen holds it. On the back of the screen there are four screws holding the screen on. I have an old Dell with 1080P on factory settings. (*br >) (PS Even after spending that much money on a Dell business laptop, I still have no idea why they come with a 768P display. It's so sad. Since my eyes dislike the view of anything less than 1080P, I had to upgrade to I will keep my eye out for any sellers in the market offering Dell original replacement screens.
By using the proper tools and watching some YouTube videos, a new screen was installed and a $300+ repair job was avoided Thanks so much!.
However, one star is deducted because the mounting tabs on top were bent so I had to bend them straight again after my first use. The packaging problem may have been the cause of the problems with the package, not with shipping. In any case, this display was installed in place of a cracked 1366 x 768 display on a Latitude 5480, providing a full HD experience. When upgrading the display to HD, there is a warning to be aware of The first time you boot back up into Windows, you'll see strange things. Disable the display driver from the Device Manager but do not delete it. Reboot after removing the driver.
The screen on my laptop cracked, so I bought this to replace it. This screen comes with not only the added benefit of a higher resolution than your OEM screen, but just as easy installation as well. The two can't be tested at the same time I only noticed a slight drop in contrast compared to the original, but it's not by much, and definitely not enough to bother me.
Install was easy, and the price was fair.
It was very easy to install this replacement, and it works perfectly. Replace with this product and I highly recommend it.
