I think it is due to the stock LCD's abysmal resolution of 1366x768. There is an issue with the bezel You can snap the bezel on with a credit card if the glue on the old screen holds it. On the back of the screen there are four screws holding the screen on. Remove these screws and disconnect the cable. It is reverse of disassembly to assemble. It works just as well as the old one, except it does not have.

I have an old Dell with 1080P on factory settings. (*br >) (PS Even after spending that much money on a Dell business laptop, I still have no idea why they come with a 768P display. It's so sad. Since my eyes dislike the view of anything less than 1080P, I had to upgrade to I will keep my eye out for any sellers in the market offering Dell original replacement screens.

The packaging problem may have been the cause of the problems with the package, not with shipping. We like the new version better than the original

The screen on my laptop cracked, so I bought this to replace it. This screen comes with not only the added benefit of a higher resolution than your OEM screen, but just as easy installation as well. The two can't be tested at the same time I only noticed a slight drop in contrast compared to the original, but it's not by much, and definitely not enough to bother me.
