This is a good replacement that passes both Hardware and Software tests

This is a great monitor replacement, so far no problems, and the Apple Hardware Diagnostics all passed, and the resolution was correct. I've had it a week since it was installed on my MacBook Air 2015. I was able to connect to WiFi and everything was aligned properly. The video provided by iFixit shows how to install the device. Since many MacBook screwdriver kits do not contain the T8 T5 and P5 in them, I highly recommend picking up the Teckman 9in1 MacBook Repair kit along with this. I hate the way the monitor's colors are different from original, and it is like 10% less bright than original. In spite of this, Apple quoted a price of $400 plus for the replacement, so it was.

It works great as a replacement for the new Mac Book Air 2020

It happened to me that my MBAir screen cracked, and Apple wanted to charge me a few hundred dollars for it. Thank goodness I found this option and after spending about two hours with it, I was able to make my MBAir appear new again. You might also need a set of precision screwdrivers for Apple devices to properly install, so make sure you read the guide provided by iFixIt before proceeding.
