There is a design flaw with the case. The user is not supposed to open the Macbook through a cutout. When you open the Macbook, you apply a force to the case, which causes it to separate from the laptop. The clips will deteriorate and crack over time. It not only looks bad when it cracks, but it also makes the laptop less secure. It's also a fingerprint magnet, but that's something that can be worked around. br>br>When I tried to contact IBENZER about this, they said they couldn't help me because I was two months out of the year. They don't pay attention to anything older than a year. AVOID.

They're about $40 each and break incredibly quickly, so I've always felt a little sad when I've had to replace them. I recently purchased an iPad and was looking for a case when I came across this one. This is probably the best purchase I've made in a long time! It fits like a glove, isn't huge and bulky, and is crystal clear so you can see your stickers if you're like me and like to sticker bomb your laptop! It has air vents on the bottom, which detract a little from the stickers' appearance, but I never look at the bottom, so it's not a problem for me. I gave it four stars for durability because I only got it today and haven't had any reason to drop it yet, so I'm not sure how durable it is, but I assume it's very durable based on the difficulty I had removing it. Because it's so difficult to get off, I gave it a three-star rating for its easy-to-remove rating, which is a good thing! You WANT your case to stay on, and I've never found a hard shell MacBook case that was easy to remove in the first place. This case is on par with, if not better than, Speck, and at almost a quarter of the price, I couldn't pass it up!br>br>TL,DR: buy this! You will not be sorry!.

The case has a very appealing appearance. The color is fantastic, and the "soft skin" effect is fantastic. In terms of appearance, it is exactly what I was looking for. It was simple to install on my computer, and I appreciated the fact that they emailed me to confirm that I had the correct model before the package arrived and was opened. In this case, I really like how my computer looks and feels. The cover for the keyboard is fantastic. It fits perfectly, and I replaced the old keyboard cover, which is great because the old one left a film on my retina screen. This one doesn't have any, and it's soft and comfortable to type on. I like how the case and keyboard are now in sync. br>This would have been a perfect five-star rating. My issue is that the keyboard case's edge protrudes, rubbing against the bottoms of my forearms while I type, which is extremely irritating. The case's plastic irritates my skin, and I tried to ignore it, but it was too much for my skin to bear. To cover the edge, I might have to use some kind of tape. Despite the fact that it was what I wanted, this part of the case ruined it for me. I'll keep using it, but I'll have to make some changes.

I previously owned Kuzy's Rose Pink case, which I liked because it had tabs on the back of the bottom case (which Speck also has, but iBenzer does not). The bottom of Kuzy's case, on the other hand, was not "tall" enough to completely cover my MacBook; Also, the "rose" color was more of a pinkish lavender than a true pink, which was nice but not quite right. The Rose color from iBenzer is exactly like the picture! br>br>The material has been rubberized, which means it has been coated with a smooth rubber for a grippy, matte feel. There isn't a single Apple product that hasn't been harmed As with other rubberized cases, the logo shines brightly through. The keyboard cover that goes with it is also fantastic; The backlit keyboard shines through with ease, and the material is thin enough to allow for easy typing while remaining thick enough to be long-lasting. lasting and not flimsy (I've had a lot of covers that were so thin that I tore them just typing on them). br>br>Other reviewers have mentioned a problem with the pads on the bottom case, which appear to be made of white foam. Mine, on the other hand, are made of a white rubber material (which appears to be the same as the case coating) and have held up well over time; None of them have "popped" off and are remaining in place. The pads are inserted into the case's holes and appear to be of much higher quality than the white foam pads that were simply glued on.

This case, it turns out, was purchased for my 2015-2016 MacBook Pro 5 years ago. ish macbook pro is a term used to describe a laptop computer that is not This time I also received the key cover, which is fantastic and also very quiet under my fingertips! Let me give you an example of the first- It lasted 5 years and could have lasted longer, but a corner chipped, and I'm picky, so I replaced it with this new one. This new one is just as good as the previous one, and here's what it's been through: Countless trips in a carry-on bag across three continents, through public transportation cities, and so on; I keep it in my briefcase or backpack, which frequently hits the ground, and the laptop is fully protected. This laptop also managed to survive the incident in which I walked through the ceiling of my office (from the attic)- The laptop was unaffected by the 120 years of dust and stucco that had accumulated on top of it. After 5 years, the case was nearly clear and unscratched. You won't be able to tell the difference until you compare it to this one right out of the box- The one from five years ago is only marginally more boring. I only had one small corner chip after all that time. Other cases' bumpers have fallen off, but this one feels and looks great, and it cost about half of what I paid 5 years ago. Don't think twice about it- This is a case that you must have! The clear is fantastic, and I'm sure the other colors are equally so.
