Questions & Answers

What additional size fans should I buy in addition to the ones that came with the case to use all of the fan locations?

A variety of fan combinations can be stored in this case. There are four fans included in the package. 1 Front 230mm, 1 Side 230mm, 1 Rear 140mm, and 1 Top 230mm are all included in the installation. In the bottom of the case (in front of the PSU), there is room for an additional 120/140mm fan. Two 120/140mm fans can be used in place of the top 230mm fan. Up to four 120/140mm fans can be used in place of the side 230mm fan.

Should I go with an ultra tower or a cooler master v8 gts?

I discovered the dimensions of both coolers after doing some more research. NH- Noctua Noctua Noctua Noctua The D14 measures 160 x 140 x 158mm, while the Cooler Master V8GTS measures 154 x 140 x 153mm. 5mm. So, to answer your question completely and accurately, the Cooler Master V8 GTS will absolutely fit. It is actually a smaller version of the Noctua NH- D14, which I'm using in my Thor right now.

is accompanied by a 3. 5 to 5. Is it possible to use a 25-bay adapter with an internal card reader? From the photos, it's difficult to tell. ?

There's a separate 3. Underneath all the five, there's a five-foot bay. A card reader or other drive can be installed in one of the 25" bays.

Is the Lepa 240 going to work in this case?

Can't say for sure, but the radiator is designed to fit a 240mm fan which is in the top of the case. It should work, and it is universal, as Thomas has already stated. Good Luck

THIS CASE HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO LOOK LIKE A CARRIER FOR AN AIRCRAFT
4/5

However, please continue reading. This case is without a doubt one of the most "elegant" I've ever owned. I bought a new case for what may be my final desktop build, a mid-tower case. My Cooler Master 212 Evo would not fit in the tower. (It's probably due to a lack of research. ) This case is constructed in the style of a plane carrier. It not only handles the 212 EVO with ease, but it also has a lot of room for anything else you throw at it. (I'm thinking about renting it out as a guest room. ) I went with the white version, which is a nice change of pace from the other cases I've purchased. There's a shock gasket on the power supply, top fins that open and close to reduce noise, and a slew of other features. br>br>The only real drawback, and it is a drawback, is the manual's lack of assistance with the front panel connectors. FAN CONNECTORS, to be precise. You'll almost certainly find enough information to guide you if you do your homework on the internet or contact Rosewill. There is an on-screen character in this THOR 2 case. The speed of the fans can be controlled using a board fan controller. Power leads from the three included fans can be connected directly to the motherboard (depending on the number of fan headers on your motherboard). They can also be connected to the front panel connectors (A1,A2,A3 / B1,B2B3), which will require power from the included front panel Molex plugs to power the fan controller. Again, some homework and questions will get you through this. I deducted one star because I believe Rosewill could put these instructions in print in a more generic manner to assist you.

I'm in love with this monstrosity of a case! I received this case about a week ago and decided to wait to write a review until I was satisfied that everything was in working order
4/5

This case has turned out to be one of my favorites! My previous case was from a prebuilt computer I purchased four years ago, and it had reached the end of its useful life, so it was time to replace it. First and foremost, this is a massive case. It has plenty of room for water cooling (I'm using air), as many drive bays as you want, and plenty of room for a GPU. Except for the top section, which houses the fins, everything is very well constructed. This part was not broken or defective when I received mine, but the top panel is held on by almost nothing. I didn't expect to move as much as I did, and I was eager to get my new rig set up, so it wasn't a problem for me. Aside from that, the side panels are nice and heavy, and the case is very solid in general. As others have mentioned, the backside of this case is a bit small, so you'll want to make sure everything is flat and not too bunched, but that's a minor issue. Three 230mm fans are included in this case. I also bought a Phanktek Dual tower heat-sink at the same time. sink - PH- TC12DX. I experienced significant temperature drops when I put both of these on. [FX 8350 on Gigabyte 990 fx ud3 w/ 4GB RAM] [FX 8350 on Gigabyte 990 fx ud3 w/ 4GB RAM] [2gz OC] This is a very slight OC, but with my previous build, I was reaching dangerous temperatures at higher clock rates after making even minor voltage adjustments. I now have a 4 that is stable. On the prime 95 small FTT test, I was able to achieve a 4GHz OC with temperatures peaking at 60 C, and I'm working to push it even further, despite the fact that this is my first time overclocking. The case looks great, but I chose to put a window in the side where one of the intake fans used to be, and I'll probably do the same with the top side vents as well. If having a window is important to you, it is relatively simple to install on your own. To make up for the loss of cool air intake, I installed a 120mm fan on the bottom (there was enough room for a 140mm, but I already had a 120), and rigged another 120mm fan to fit in the front using the grates over the empty 5. Rubber mounts for 25" drive bays. It's not particularly attractive, but you won't notice it once the front grate is replaced. It's fantastic to have USB 3. 0. There are 0 ports on the front for connecting an external hard drive, and it has a rubbery lining on the top to keep it from sliding off. I didn notice much difference when I used the fan speed knobs, they all seem to just run at 100%, but the case remains very quiet; The 230mm fans are very quiet and move a lot of air. Overall, it's an excellent case that I would strongly suggest to anyone. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> I deducted one star because I was working and my temperatures increased slightly, only to discover that my top exhaust fan had failed. Because it was working before, I assumed it was the fan. I eventually removed that fan and replaced it with the one from the side panel, only to discover that it, too, did not work. I tried all of the extra fan power connections from the FanA and FanB connectors (which are supposed to go to the top knobs). None of them, either, were successful! All of my cable management in the back had to be reworked at this point. I had to run the fan power cable directly to the mobo in the end. It was successful. It wasn't a big deal that I had to connect to the mobo, but I had three cables to connect to. The case's included connections did not work. The fan speed knobs, as you might have guessed, are also useless.

This is an extremely large case
3/5

I strongly advise you to look elsewhere because the customer service is atrocious! I needed a case for my son's computer, which needed to be rebuilt. I came across this case by accident, and many reviews indicated that it was a large case, which made it nice and easy to work with. I was taken aback by the size of the case when I first received it. Solid and heavy, with plenty of space for any system builder's needs. It was simple to route the cables. I hope you have enough wire runs to get everything where you want it to go. So much for the positivebr>br>Functionally, it works fine. It's a big, easy-to-work-with surface. Fans are large and make enough noise that you should turn them off when not in use (this is not just my opinion; my son also mentioned it). The knobs on the fan speed control are difficult to turn and don't do much. For effect and airflow, the metal appears to be mostly made up of a punched out mesh. br>br>After assembly, things started to go downhill. When I turned on the system, one of the two light strips flanking the front panel began to flicker incessantly. Granted, this was not a major issue, but I paid for a fully functional case, which is exactly what I should have received. I double-checked my connections and found that they were all in good working order. I contacted so-called Rosewill customer service and inquired about my options. They politely informed me that parts were unavailable and that I could RMA the case for a replacement. I explained that the computer was used on a daily basis for school, distance learning, and entertainment, and that being without it for weeks during the RMA process would be inconvenient. The next option is to order a new case, swap out the components, and return the defective case. I replied that I didn't feel like dismantling the entire mess and requested a partial refund. Rosewill apparently prefers to pay for shipping multiple times back and forth over offering a customer a discount on a defective item. Rosewill's next option was to order a new case, strip the part out, and RMA the cannibalized case. I requested that they do it at the factory and send me the part so I wouldn't have to spend more money fixing their defective item and running back and forth to a shipping company to return the replacement donor case (remember, this thing is massive). No luck this time; they claim they are unable to do so, despite their suggestion that I do so. Remember, this is a so-called customer service department that wants to put the customer in charge of all customer service. This is a great business plan. Please send me my pay so that I can assist you with your work. br>br>I'd had it with the back and forth for a while. It's not worth the trouble. I'm going to use the RMA and get a full refund. I won't put the components back into a Rosewill case if I have to remove them. There are far too many other examples of businesses that value their customers. I will never, ever buy another Rosewill product.
