Questions & Answers

Is that a gen 1 3? Is it better to have only one USB port or to have two USB ports?

There are two USB 3.0 ports on the case itself. 1 ports. Although they are gen 1, a motherboard with more USB ports is available. The ones on the case are suitable for your keyboard and mouse, which is exactly what I use mine for.

What's the deal with RGB?

The fans aren't all bad.

Is it possible to fix a Tomahawk Max motherboard with this?

Yes, this case is for ATX motherboards, and I believe you mean fix = fit and max motherboard = largest atx motherboard.

What is the maximum radiator thickness in the case's front?

I went with a 240mm and it worked perfectly.

I've been gradually upgrading the various parts of a prebuilt PC I bought a few years ago, and the case was the final upgrade
5/5

This case (I have the white Airflow version) is visually stunning. I still can't stop staring at it, despite the fact that the product pictures don't do it justice. Cable management is easy and enjoyable thanks to the PSU shroud, rubber grommets, and built-in cable routes. Two of my friends mistook it for an open-ended question. Because the glass panel was so clear, it was possible to build an air chassis. br>br>Performance br>br>Performance br>br>Performance br Thanks to the capacity to store two additional fans (6 total), my idle temperatures dropped about 8 degrees C compared to my old case. While playing Apex Legends, my temperatures are only slightly lower, but I attribute this to the fact that my girlfriend's computer is in the same room as mine, as well as the fact that I live in Florida. 'br>br>Because I had never built a PC from the ground up before, it took me about 3 hours to transfer everything over, but working in this case was a delight. For the rest of my life, I'd be perfectly content with this case.

There are screws in place; double-check! This is an excellent argument
4/5

I'll just say right now that THERE ARE SCREWS IN HARDDRIVE BAY, but they're HIDDEN. They'll be in a small cardboard box after you remove the case's metal backing (which is a bit tricky). I was furious at first because there were no screws, so I tried screwing the motherboard together with ones I had on hand that were close in size, but then I removed the back of the case to install the power supply and discovered screws. Apart from the initial setup, this case has performed admirably for me thus far, and I haven't experienced any heating issues while using only the included fans. The fans are not LED like the ones in the picture, but they appear to be simple enough to replace with LED ones later if desired. br>The ASUS ROG Strix B- was used. 450f motherboardbr>XFX Fatboy RX590 GPUbr>450f motherboardbr>XFX Fatboy RX590 GPUbr>450f motherboardb.

In person, it appears to be a better case
5/5

BUT 100% get a flock of fans by doing this. Take a look at what follows. As I previously stated, this is a fantastic case; I adore the design, the size, and everything about it; however, people read reviews to learn about the flaws, and there are two major flaws here that can easily be addressed. The mechanical HDD trays were one issue. They're fine in and of themselves; they're a simple plastic design that slides into a prefabricated area in front of the PSU behind the shroud. The problem is that once you've run every cable from the PSU to the board and back, you're stuck on where you can actually fit the cables into the HDD for power and data to the MOBO. It can work with a few tweaks (I made it work), but a much easier solution is to get a fully modular PSU (once the covid shipping disruptions are over and you can buy PSUs again lol). You can cut the extra slack wires out of the case and fit the wiring to the HDD tray easily this way. br>br>However, the Crap case fans are my biggest concern. Invest $9 per sickeflow v2 fan in the Coolermaster sickeflow v2s! These aren't high-priced gimmicks like Corsair fans; they perform better than any other fan at this price point, have higher RPM/CFM, are attractive, and can be customized with RGB or static colors if desired. I couldn't keep my GPU under 75 degrees with these stock SP120 corsair fans. On normal days, I drop to 65 when the fans are removed and replaced with sickeflow for the front intake. It may not be dangerous, but over time that's time away from the GPU, which could live longer if temperatures were lower, and that's what this case is all about: "airflow. " It's not even the best airflow with good fans, and if you look up reviews comparing others, it's kind of mediocre. However, for only 80 dollars, you can spend as much as you want. For $30, you can get some sickleflow v2s, and the airflow 275r's entire premise works reasonably well.

For a novice like myself, it was simple! There is a lot of cable management
4/5

Cable management is a breeze with this case! There were plenty of cable tie anchor points and conduits for cables to pass through. If, like me, you only intend to use an M. The hard drive tray in the bottom is easily removable for even more cable management options, and it can hold two SSDs and possibly a regular SSD. br>br>It was also a much brighter, cleaner white than I had anticipated! The glass side panel is easy to remove, and the rubber spacers keep it from breaking or shattering when the screws are tightened. The back panel is also easily removed, and both the glass panel and the back panel screws have ridges that make it simple to take on and off with your hands without the use of any tools. The only criticism is that the PSU shroud made it difficult to align the motherboard, but this may not be an issue for more experienced builders. My only complaint was that it was my first time, and it was a minor one at that because I was able to get it in a matter of minutes.

The weather was fantastic, and the construction experience was fantastic
5/5

The case is fantastic! With my 3900x, I decided to go with an air build instead of a water build, which necessitated a lot of airflow over my components, which this thing delivers in spades. Using my NH- My CPU temps never exceed 75 degrees Celsius, regardless of how long it sits under load in my D15 (which fits perfectly because the case has plenty of room). br>br>If you've never built a computer before, this case is a great place to start. You shouldn't have to look up part compatibility with it because it has plenty of room on the inside. My d15, as I previously stated, fits perfectly. It was also a breeze to manage the cables, and the psu/hdd shroud looks fantastic. br>br>Even in terms of aesthetics, the case is stunning. However, it came with low-quality fans and no lights, so I had to purchase a set of three RGB fans. It's not a major issue, but it's something to keep in mind. Overall assessment: br>br> Great for new builders, great for seasoned builders, and if you're on a budget and can't add fans to this case, it's worth sacrificing aesthetics at first. I'd construct it first, then add the fans later. The most important part is to keep your parts cool!br>br>Edit: br>I had to replace my ram because LPX was incompatible with my motherboard, and the new gskill ram did not clear the 140mm. I had to substitute a 120mm lens for it. If you're going to use a choky cooler like this one, keep that in mind. I was also able to fit three 120mm fans in the top, despite the fact that only two 120mm fans are supported. I don't think a radiator would fit on top due to the tight fit.
