Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Lianli power strimers are available in 24 and 8 pin versions, allowing for even more chassis customization. Enhance the look and feel of your GPU!
Lighting effects are controlled and supplied separately from the 8-pin GPU or 24-pin motherboard power supply cables thanks to a two-layer design. The total length is 30 cm.
This 8 pin version is actually an 8 8 version with 16 pins for dual 8 pin power plugs; if you only need 8 pins, there will be extra cables. There is only a 16 pin variation of the PCI bracket controller.
Only 3-pin 5v addressable LED enabled motherboards are supported; 4-pin RGB headers are not supported. Strimers have a number of characteristics. 5 cm thick and need plenty of room to route properly.

Questions & Answers

So you're going to connect this to your existing 24 pin cable, correct? It doesn't connect to your power supply at all, between it and the motherboard?

This is correct.

Can I buy the 24pin version and plug it into the 3080 because some of the new 3080 cards require 3x8 pin?

Lian Li achieves a triple 8-point performance. This is a pin strimer cable designed specifically for some rtx 30 series cards. They cost about $80 USD on Amazon.

Can I connect a lian li 8 pin gpu power strimer to the same controller if I have a lian li rgb psu cable? I don't have a 3-pin gpu power strimer. Do you have a pin header?

If you want to use this lianli strimer as an aura symc, make sure your motherboard has a three-pin header. However, if you don't have one, don't put it in a four-pin 14-volt socket because lianli is only 5 volts. You must purchase the 24 pin lianli in order to combine it, and it comes with a free switch for the two lianlis.

Is this compatible with the software from ASUS Aura or NZXT?

In a nutshell, yes. It works with Asus Aura if you have a 3-in-1 card. RGB header with PIN addressable pins. PIN isn't going to help you!

Selected User Reviews For Lian Li 8 Pin GPU Power Strimer - Show Yourself - 30 cm [8+8 pin]

Poor testing procedure; however, if you find one that works, it appears to be cool
3/5

As a result, I enjoy having lights in my system. Too much. When I first saw these cables, I thought they were a must-have. I ordered the 8 8 pin GPU, but the first one only lit up white, so I got a replacement, and the second one had two dead LEDs in the middle. The third one is effective. Yay? br>br>I also ordered a 24 pin power supply, which I installed and it looks fantastic. For the duration of ten minutes The final two LEDs then cease to change color. They then turn off completely for 10 minutes before rebooting the system. Same problem with both my motherboard's 3 pin RGB headers and the "PCI Card" that came with it. br>br>If returning and getting new ones isn't a problem for you, they might be fine; they can do some cool color combinations and add more RGB, at least with my motherboard software. However, unless you have a strong desire for these, I would advise you to avoid them. Fortunately, Amazon is fantastic and will continue to send replacements as needed.

This is fantastic! I got the 8 pin and 24 pin Strimmers and I'm in love with them
5/5

They have a good amount of brightness. Unless your case already contains a large number of LEDs. They look fantastic and have excellent effects. They can be difficult to put together and get to ben the right way, but once you do, they will stay in your case and will become a focal point. "How the hell is that working like that?" and "Where did you get those?" are some of the common questions. I strongly advise you to purchase them. I'm using Asus Aura sync to run them.

The ideal complement to your setup
5/5

The best RGB upgrade I've ever made to my rig. I've always thought RBG PSU cables were a little excessive, but when you see them in person, they're absolutely stunning. I'm guessing the majority of the negative feedback here has no idea what the difference between 12v and 5v on your motherboard is. My motherboard has 12v RBG pin headers, but these strimers only accept 5v. If you try to connect these, you'll undoubtedly encounter electrical problems; don't be a rookie; a little research goes a long way.

When installed, it gives off a nice appearance
5/5

When set up properly, it works well. It's not as simple as their setup video makes it appear, but it gives your system a nice look. It does not include an RGB cable or a PCI card, as the 24 pin does. br>If you don't have an RGB cable like the one that came with your MB, order one at the same time as this, or you'll be out of luck. br>The best advice I can give is to be patient when installing it!.

It works
5/5

It works. However, the surrounding colors have an effect on it, and it appears to be a shade or two off. When it's white, 255R, 255G, and 255B, it's immediately noticeable. For example, instead of white, it appears to be a light lime green. br>br>Installation could be made simpler. I believe it is a 5V 3 pin. If you don't have a compatible motherboard, it comes with a controller for an PcI slot, which I simply connect to the same strip that controls my case RGB (Evolv X). It's a good buy at Amazon's discounted price. br>br> If the lights don't work or break, at the very least invest in a high-quality white 24pin extender (which Cablemod sells for $40).

I really like it
5/5

Everything appears to be in working order. If you take your time and plan out your wiring, it won't be difficult or complicated to install. The extension's only drawback is that it is difficult to flex. You'll save time and effort if you shape the extension to your needs before clipping on the light. I intend to get the 8pin version as soon as possible. br>br>Update. 5/18 I still haven't received the 8-pin version, but I did receive a 24-pin for another project. It looks and performs admirably.

It adds a splash of color to your computer
4/5

Friends remarked on how well I looked. On my computer, I really like the way this looks. It's a great way to bring it all together. It's simple to set up both of them. It's essentially an add-on that allows you to connect the Lian li 24/8pin to your existing 24/8pin cord, eliminating the need to remove your power supply (due to its short length). I have a 6 pin gpu that works fine. br>Curving the 24 pin to my liking was simple. The 8pin, on the other hand, took longer to bend and assemble because I had to remove the clear holders and flip it over so the rgb wires could attach to it. If it pulls out, be gentle with it; if it does, simply unscrew it and replace it. They give you a black rectangular chip that you can use to organize your wires. For the 8pin, I tried it both ways: with the clear end at the top that connects to my gpu, and with the black strip end where it says Lian Li on top. I prefer the black strip end because that's where the rgb flows out of and the colors are more vibrant. Some people prefer to place the clear end on top, but that is entirely up to you. br>I would have bought Lian Li's Strimer plus instead if I had known it was coming out. On that one, they improved their wires. Overall, it appears to be quite nice (:.

If you want a lot of colored lights on your computer, this is the way to go!   My son requested a gaming computer, so we decided to build one for him
5/5

We used a lot of RGB components because he wanted the computer to look cool. This Strimer went well with the other RGB components. The Strimer comes with a controller that lets you change the color and pattern of the lights. The Strimer's sole purpose is to be attractive. So, if you want your PC to have a colorful appearance, this adds a nice rainbow of colors.
