Mojave version 10 is installed on my 13-inch Mac Book Pro. 1 and it's a good match. I'm not sure if this will be of any assistance.
It should work if there is a USB port on it. It also comes with a smaller USB plug that resembles an AmazonBasics USB.
Please send us a photo of the DVD so that I can get an idea of its size. It worked when I put in a DVD from 2003. It would be very helpful if you could provide a picture from your end.
It is a plug-and-play device that does not require any additional software. If you want to watch movies and are unhappy with what is already on our PC, you can purchase DVD player software. To read and write on a CD or DVD, you don't need any software other than Windows 10.

Despite the fact that optical discs are becoming obsolete, you'll eventually find yourself holding a CD/DVD disc and wishing you had a way to read it. Maybe you need to reinstall a driver or install Windows 10 from a DVD, but all you have is the software CD. Grandma might be willing to lend you one of her nostalgic DVD movies. Having an external optical drive in the office, for whatever reason, is a great idea. br>br>This ROOFULL CD/DVD external drive has a very well-designed user interface. thought- It has a great design and is the best external drive I've seen in a long time. The cable that comes with it is compatible with the most recent USB-compatible devices. C, USB 3. 0 (as well as the older USB 2. 0), and it stores neatly in a groove on the underside, ensuring that it is never lost. Fantastic! br>br>In Windows 10, the drive does not require any drivers (it simply plugs in). You can use it as a burner by downloading one of the many free burning software utilities available on the Internet, or by installing the free burning utility available from the Microsoft Store for Windows 10. The drive performs admirably when reading and writing to optical discs. br>br>As impressive as the drive is, it's the protective case that has me speechless (OMG)! The shell is made of tough materials, and there's plenty of foam padding on the inside to protect the drive. There's also a side storage compartment and custom zipper pulls. Oh, if only other electronics companies provided such a well-made protective case with their products. I couldn't believe my eyes. br>br>So, for something I'll probably only use a few times a year, I'm very pleased with this product; when you need something "just in case," it's nice to have a solution that you know will be there for you when you need it the most.
I purchased an ASUS gaming laptop without a CD/DVD player or burner. I did my research and concluded that this would be a good bet. It's precisely what I needed. She rips and burns like a pro while remaining remarkably quiet. There is no need for any additional setup. Aside from a burning program, that is. This CD/DVD player is supposed to be ready to use right out of the box. So I plugged it in and it didn't work. It shouldn't have been difficult to figure out; either it works or it doesn't. I contacted the manufacturer, who, to their credit, responded promptly, even though it was a Saturday. They gave me a long list of things I could try in order to get it to work. One of their recommendations was to turn off my antivirus and firewall for a short period of time. Uh. No, this was a huge red flag for me. I admit that I'm not very computer literate when it comes to troubleshooting, but this is far too much for me to fiddle with and waste time on for something billed as plug and play. I found it interesting that on the back side of the small "instruction" that came inside the box, it stated that it might not work and apologized for the inconvenience. So, what do you make of that? Although the company appears to be friendly, I am still unable to use my device. br>br>New and improved review: It finally recognized this driver the day after I wrote the previous review, and after a half-day of trying, it downloaded two games. However, I am still considering returning it for a different brand because I am not confident that it will work the next time I use it.
I purchased this CD/DVD reader in order to transfer a few music CDs to my MacBook Air, and I'm currently listening to one of them while writing this review. The CD player is packaged in a padded carrying case that was cleverly used to reduce the item's shipping footprint. It arrived in excellent condition and on time. I plugged it in and began uploading my music in a matter of seconds. There's no need to download any software; it's a true plug-and-play solution. and-play. There is no need for additional power. Everything works fine, and the CD player feels solid and not at all flimsy, which is surprising for a device at this price point. It's light and compact enough to fit into a backpack or briefcase with ease. This is an outstanding product.
Because I dislike streaming and prefer to have all of my content available at all times, I assumed that my existing external CD burner/player would continue to meet my needs when I purchased a new MacBook Air. It was incompatible with the new computer, which is fortunate because it prompted me to purchase this one. It is, without a doubt, deserving of a five-star rating. I gave it a four-star rating in the hopes that people would read this review and believe it to be fair; this external hard drive is fantastic. It's in perfect condition. It has a USB port on it. Both a USB Type-C and a USB Type-A connector are available. It comes with a sturdy case that makes transporting it simple and safe, and it offers excellent value for money.
I went out looking for a low-cost DVD player to back up my DVD collection so that I could watch them on my Plex Server. I didn't want to spend too much money because I only have about 50 DVDs left. br>This player was ideal for the job. When I plugged it into my Windows 10 computer, it was immediately recognized. I'm aware that some "complaints" have been made here about the lack of DVD player software, etc. - So, put one in place. Download VLC or something similar for any platform and it will play your DVDs just fine. br>br>Overall, the device is fantastic. It's well-packaged, and the small carry pouch is a nice touch. When not in use, the cable tucks away neatly. So far, there have been no complaints. If you have it on a wooden desk, it may be a little noisy, so putting a mat underneath it may be a good idea. For the price, you can't beat it.
