It's still going strong! I've filled this up with anime, TV shows, and movies, and I'm down to about 60 gigs after a month. I'm satisfied with it because it does the job well. Although the plastic around the edges appears to be fragile, I am unconcerned. The only criticism is that it only has 465 GB of usable space. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: I've removed and added a lot, it's been put through daily almost all day every day use and I've yet to have an issue, plan on getting a second 1tb and just keeping this one for anime, great buy and a great price! I've definitely been recommending this to people. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: It's now August 26th, and I've noticed that some videos aren't playing as well as they used to; this could be due to getting a second laptop and having them both plugged in and running at the same time (my laptop isn't the best), but other than that, all files are still there, and they still play (though some Mkv files appear to have more artifacts; this could just be my laptop). br>br>Feb 14th 2020, final Nothing to complain about, it still works perfectly.

Plug and play takes care of all the setup for you, so it's ready to use right away! With dimensions of just under 5" x 3", it's a good size for a gift. The drive is 75" in length and fits in the palm of your hand. It's pocket-sized, so you can take it with you wherever you go. The drive stopped working after it was dropped, according to some reviewers. This is true of any hard disk drive, but I've had a great time using the one I was sent. Transfer speeds are fast, setup is simple, and the system is dependable. I would strongly advise!.

It was well worth the effort. I held off on writing this review for a while because I wanted to give the product some time to see if it had any issues. On an HP stream 14, I use this. It performs admirably. I needed a simple external hard drive, so I did some research and decided on this one. It accomplishes its goal. I initially had an issue with it disconnecting after 10 minutes, but I was able to resolve it by changing the hard drive sleep setting on the advance battery option. I would suggest it!.

I use this device to store all of my college video projects and music; previously, I had three 250GB devices, but they were all full, so this was just what I needed. I transferred all of my data from USB drives to this device, and to my surprise, it works flawlessly on both my Acer Chromebook 15 and my PlayStation 4. When I first ordered it, I saw so many negative reviews that I decided to take a chance, but so far I haven't had any of the issues listed in the reviews, but I better keep my fingers crossed because I've only had it for two days and they're using different setups than I am. I'm only speaking for myself, but it seems to work for me, so I'm pleased! Excellent product!.

Then there was a twenty-dollar bill. five stars for three years of security, data recovery, and replacement of products! All of the one-star reviews I read would have been five stars if they had paid an extra buck and a quarter for the coverage! For my buyer's insecurities, this was the best configuration. This is the worst product I've ever used; it crashed and won't let me repair the drive; I can't get any of my files off of it; it now contains nearly all of my computer's photos and documents; and I can't get any of my files off of it. I'm unable to return it because the company refuses to contact me. Very dissatisfied! This is something you should avoid purchasing.

I bought it to store photos, videos, and word documents off my laptop, with the intention of transferring them when I got a new laptop, which I knew would happen soon. So far, it has performed admirably in that capacity. Everything downloaded quickly (even on my old Windows 7 laptop), and the storage capacity was just right for me. I think the USB port is a little large; it feels sticky and tight when I insert it, but it still works, so I guess it's fine; I don't know how long it will last because I only got it a few weeks ago, but it easily transferred my files to my new laptop!.

up and completes the task at hand. This was purchased to replace a hard drive that I use to backup my iMac using Time Machine. I got a new iMac that didn't have any Firewire ports, so my old one was USB 2. I was hoping that the USB 3. 0 transfer rates would be faster. 0 Would be ten times faster, as stated in the advertisement. My first backup took about two hours to complete and was 300 MB in size. It did so without a hitch, though the transfer rates were sometimes excruciatingly slow. This may or may not be due to the speed of the vehicle, but it was slower than I had anticipated. When I first connected it to my iMac, Time Machine informed me that it needed to be erased and reformatted. That took about two minutes, and that was the extent of my iMac's setup. It is much quieter and smaller than my previous portable hard drive, and it represents excellent value for money.
