This switch has four ports, so as well as switching between two computers, you can switch between three or four computers with it.
It does not seem to exist to my knowledge. Changing ports on the KVM for each computer will assist you in determining whether it is the monitor or the KVM switch that is causing the problem.
In short, yes. The answer is yes. Plug an external USB device into this port. The device does not have to be associated with the connected

All in all, this performs as expected. Thanks to the fact that it is so much cheaper than many of the other options, I am very happy to have found this. It's also nice to have a little USB keypad for pressing It makes it very easy to change inputs!
I knocked it down a star for a couple of 1*
Support your state/province. We've received a few USB cables with minor quality issues. There were a couple of mine that did not work. ** 1. As if a plug were pulled on the HDMI cable when switching from one computer to another, pulling the plug on the empty computer is the equivalent of pulling the plug on the computer that is not It may cause some annoyance for the user in that the computer tries to reconfigure based on the monitor present or absent. The only annoyance we have encountered so far was the installation procedure, but the product has been a tremendous benefit.
Switching between two Mac laptops and a PC tower is made possible by this device. I can hook it up in no time. It also comes with a wired remote you can put on your desk or keyboard (which also has a light to indicate which channel is active) that provides good indication of what is going on in the main box. There is one disadvantage, which is that the monitor must be actually switched after about ten seconds. It got worse after a couple of weeks when the keyboard began going dead. Every so often, when I switch out the keyboard, it stops working. Even unplugging and replugging the keyboard doesn't fix the problem (but plugging the keyboard directly into a computer works fine, so it's not the keyboard). After powering off the KVM switch for a while, the issue appears to be fixed. It's very hard to do that since the battery is powered both from USB AND the power supply. The only way to briefly turn off the power is to unplug a whole lot of stuff. Having to power the laptop would be wonderful if you could power it yourself You need to cycle it often for it to stay in working order. There is no reset switch, of course. No way I would buy it.
It is a little slow to switch between inputs, but that is almost certainly not the fault of the KVM switch, but rather the other hardware and Although it is a little slow, it does what it is supposed to do.
Then, there were problems. After 28 days, the product worked beautifully. This evening, one of the PCs began to display the error message "Windows cannot recognize this device". The keyboard and mouse could not be used. There were still no problems with HDMI. In an attempt to have the problem resolved in the other two computers, I tried to switch over to the one that had the issue, but neither would detect I'll see if I can exchange this for another one.
It was quick and easy to do. Rather than having to navigate through all computers, you can choose which one you want to connect to directly. You can find out how and what is connected with illuminating lighting. To date, everything has worked out perfectly.
A device like this is great to have in a home or office. With a common keyboard, mouse, and monitor you can easily connect multiple laptops, desktops, etc. My keyboard and mouse are connected to my home pc at the moment, but I have been unplugging the usb from my work laptop every time I use it. In order to use a monitor with HDMI, I needed to do the same. I was able to solve this with the switch and I have the option of adding two additional machines in the Also, I enjoy being able to switch between the wired and wireless devices using the Making it very convenient and allowing the switch to remain hidden is a great idea.
I have no problems with anything. Using my laptop/PC, I can switch between 3 monitors at the same time.
What I like best is the extra desktop switcher that comes with it, it's much easier when it comes to designing cables, and it has a lot of advantages. A total of three extra USB ports enabled other devices to be shared. The switch I use is extremely reliable, and I am extremely satisfied with my current setup. I would recommend buying this.
The fact that I work from home means that I need to switch between the company computer and my personal computer several times a day, so this switch can make that process easier. I like the size of the switch and how easy it is to install.
