In short, yes. The same is true for me.
CKL-2004 is the model you have in mind There is an extended display option for the 944HUA. As part of the product variation, there is both a duplicated display model and an extended display model with the characteristic of Q&A This model shares A with the other two as they are of the same variation, but if you click on the question, you will see which model the question pertains to. Thanks for the clarification, I am sorry for any
My experience tells me that you're going to have a hard time finding a KVM that supports dual monitors at 144hz for anything below $300.
The switch affects the control of the keyboard, video, and mouse on one computer and not on can't control both and display both at the same time.

In order to re-use this product, I bought it If I am working from home, I do so on my desktop setup. A single HDMI cord provides connections for HDMI, USB, AUX, and MIC on one end, while another HDMI cable forms an Octopus on the other end. It wasn't long before I was up and running on my laptop after buying a few display port adapters. I would like to make the following Please note It takes me most of the time to realize I am using the middle mouse button frequently to switch ports on the KVM as a "hotkey," especially since I use it for software development frequently. Please note (I have the extended display version) My unit produces a slight hum. Please note The sound of beeping is extremely loud when ports are changed. A keyboard shortcut can be used to turn this off Use the right arrow key to navigate to the next page.
My research looked into all DisplayPort offerings, but unfortunately it does appear that DP cannot support KVMs very well, which results in issues like resolutions being lost, monitors "forgetting" application window and icon positions, and a long list of other issues. My previous setup included a pair of 27" monitors hooked up to an IOgear DVI-I switch A solid and reliable system that has been around for about a decade. My hunch was that finding a dual monitor would be easy It is a HDMI KVM head. That wasn't what I was thinking. After more than a MONTH of searching, I have viewed over 200 product details, and must have spent over a GIGANTIC amount of time on this! There were a variety of sites to look at, including specialty sites and overseas sites. No product, service, or company I found had a reasonable number of positive reviews where half or more of the customers did not complain about issues that would clearly affect me also. My best bet would be to find a rack mount system for $600 or more. It was too expensive for me so I bought an IOGEAR Dual HDMI KVM GCS1322TAA3 for $500. Oh, well, that rack looks interesting Immediately upon arrival, one of the HDMI ports did not work. It also took three sets of special connectors worth $90 to make it working! It would have cost me at least $800 to buy a KVM, which is what I'd have spent on Additionally, it was not compatible with wireless keyboards and mice. Thank you for returning that! CKL KVM then showed up on Amazon, and it looked great, even though there were only 4 reviews at that time. I set out to buy it but there was no stock! Another site finally had it available for purchase, and by that time it was also sold out! In the end, I was lucky enough to find ONE remaining on the manufacturer's shelf, so I bought it. It shipped from China using DHL, so I was pleasantly surprised how fast it arrived although it took a week to arrive Presidents Day (a holiday for many shippers) was even included in the delivery schedule. I installed it with no trouble at all. All the components were plugged in and my setup was up and running. The resolution was set to match my monitors and it worked. However, the monitors flashed "Out of range. " messages. As for my laptop, I switched to that as well and it also worked fine. I went into my monitors and changed a setting and it worked fine. My surprise at how easy and convenient it was when I bought it was unbelievable! Thank you so much! This is how I set it up 1. A custom PC with a Nvida GTX graphics card - One HDMI port on the 970 can be used to output the video and one DisplayPort with a DP-inIt can be used to output the video A HDMI adapter is needed. Exactly what I needed. The Dell Latitude 5580 connected to a computer via a USB port A Windows C port connects to a Dell D6000 docking port, with outputting to a native HDMI port, as well as a DisplayPort with DP-plus A HDMI adapter is needed. It works perfectly on one monitor, however the other DisplayPort output does not run at 4K at all, even though I was able to get it to work The situation is a bit complicated because it is a very locked-down My work computer is down, so I suspect it is not KVM related. The bottom line is that “YES, I RECOMMEND THIS. ” A few PROS Exactly as expected. Worked fine. I've included 4 cables with my dual head, dual port version (for my version with two heads). We have two (2) standard HDMI cables as well as two (2) combo It is kind of cool to have combo cables like this There is an HDMI cable, USB plug, and audio plug on your PC side, so that is to be expected, but on the KVM end there is only All of those signals are transmitted over the HDMI connection and then split out where necessary by the KVM. This simplifies the connections at the back of the KVM considerably, and it looks much more tidy than my last KVM, which looked a lot It has little confusion at first, with only a few things that are hard to follow at first. If you read it through two times, it becomes obvious to you. When this is repeated three times, it becomes fairly obvious how to do things. There are a lot of cool features in this app. You may set your "hot key" to be CTRL on either the left or the right side of the keyboard, or, alternatively, NUMLOCK or SCROLL LOCK. If you want to turn off the beep, you can do so. Hotkeys can be used to reset the KVM. By double-clicking on the knob, you can choose one of the 2 or 4 computers (1 or 2 in my case, or 4 if you get the 4 port version) or switch between the two that are turned on You can click the middle mouse button to open a window. My Windows 10 desktop can now extend across multiple monitors, giving me the option to display different content on each. There are not many people living there. I usually double-up on them, since I have them on my desk but I can probably double it up if I had to Under my desk, I also put a piece of double-sided tape on it. This package included everything I needed to get up and running EXCEPT a set of HDMI cables to connect to It is unlikely that this is a problem for me, since I already had them. They also have a sticker on top with the basics! The directions are also included on the stickers! - It is just too simple we don't need to say anything more about it The product works as it should, it was excellent value at $129, and it is very The cons are Although the cords are included, they appear to be a little short. Instead of a standard 6' length, they appear to be only 4' or 5' long, which may be an issue if you want to place the KVM somewhere else. Look at my other reviews too, I'm a real customer, and I don't bother to buy anything that has the smallest hint of a fake listing.
Hello, everybody. This review may help, I am well experienced in IT and have used several KVMs, but I especially liked the idea that this KVM supported This is what I experienced with two of the units that I had and both of them were faulty. 1.
There is a short length of cable for USB ports, which does not fit properly to the mouse and keyboard (or any standard USB connections)*2. I had both of them, but they deselected and re-installed themselves continuously without reason (on both of them)
3. I would think that the quality of the cables are not that great, because they are older and bulky. It's unclear what to do or where to look for documents, and I didn't finish figuring it out without a lot of effort the images do not match the ports, and customer support is non-existent.
5. It doesn't work at all. Every time I try it I run into issue after issue. It took me hours of playing with the first one before I figured out it had to be faulty, and I returned it to Amazon (Amazon was fantastic). It was great when the 2nd one worked, but about a month after that it started doing the same thing I'd experienced with the 1st one to the point where I decided to remove it. As it is, it's basically garbage and I like to keep it in my garage. In the least, I would say it was a waste of time and 135 is a lot to write about. As far as computer accessories go, this is the worst I have ever purchased. If I could, I would give it Zero stars.
Its HDMI connections allow it to be used to extend two displays. This made me want to buy this KVM. Extending the display is an excellent use of the software. The service was excellent. I'm not complaining about Mac and PC versions of the program are supported. The only difference is, I own a Corsair RGB mechanical keyboard that matches a Corsair RGB I had the following problems (1) A mechanical keyboard plugged into the back USB port on the computer would not work. (2) The Mac would point, but not click the mouse, but it would not recognize the mouse correctly. BUT, there is a way out of There is a power supply on the front port. It all worked after I connected a USB hub to the front USB port and plugged in the keyboard and mouse. This thing would be a five star product if it had a powered mouse out and keyboard out on the back in addition to the front USB ports. As it is, I would be able to give it a four star rating.
