You must hook up your keyboard and mouse to the RX since the USB input on the TX is for computer use only. A USB port and a micro USB port are available.
It is not necessary to use a router. On each of the Cat 6 lines I have one TX with two RX connected to a five port switch. This works perfectly. This includes DHCP and so on. In this case, it does not apply.
USB power is not normally supplied through the USB port, which is only used for mice and keyboards. If you are planning on using the USB interface for power, then you should buy a A USB power plug that provides 5 volts and 1 volt of power
It is not possible to connect a power supply to a USB port.

I was very disappointed in the quality, and the product description was misleading. You can use this if you only want to watch 720p. Although the picture quality is obviously compressed, it is still acceptable if you want to do only the basics. The resolution of the screen isn't guaranteed to be 1080p, but try upping it and giving up on any smooth graphics or contrast. In essence, the 1080 is compressed to 720 to let the 720 be upresized later. Furthermore, the USB can be very laggy at times and hard to use. The cable was connected over a 50 foot cat 6, and I even tried on another cable just to be sure. My HDMI connection is powered over cat 6 and I have a separate USB cable over cat 6.
I am going back to using powered HDMI. More cables (3) are required, but the technology is actually cheaper and does work.
It is alarming. This would get 0 stars from me if I could. This model does not display 1080p as described in the product An interruption occurs when you plug in and plug out the USB. A jarring scratching noise comes from the receiver, as if someone is scratching a vinyl record and taping something at the same time. I'm astonished that this product has an average rating of 4 stars. KVM extenders that were similar to this hit the back burner because of the number and the quality of reviews for half working products.
Windows 10 suggests that 720 is the optimal feed. The details of images and 3d graphics are pixelated around the screen's edges when they are rendered onto it. Around 80% of the video is in 1080P, with other sections in high detail (e. g. The quality of the 240 potatoes is showing up in additional visual data. If you were to look at memes from the early 2000s with extra JPEG compression, your eyes would go blind. Some keys and the mouse are not working when we try to use them. To fix this, you have to unplug and plug in the USB cables This KVM extender was a bit pricey for us so I am going to try another one.
Oh well, it's just fine. There is a noticeable drop in picture resolution. It has been stated that the USB's are not suitable for a printer or flash drive, as they are only suitable for a mouse and keyboard. Further, I bought the unit to use through my network switch however, using it in that way shuts down my WiFi, so it didn't work in my application I wish I'd returned it and gone with one of a better quality.
An NVR with a distance of 260 feet was achieved with the use of this product. At first, I have tested it with 295ft and it works perfectly. No lag, excellent movement and the ability to select the menus and time slots accurately during playback are some advantages. In addition, I tested it on a network switch connected to Ubiquitous Edge switches with a fiber of 500ft, and it worked as well. We are very happy with this product. We will definitely use it again and recommend it to others.
The video and mouse movements are actually transmitted without any problems. There is just one problem with it It advertises that I can use it alongside other IP-based I have confirmed that it does send a signal though my network switch, but it completely wipes out all other devices from the network.
My goal was to get the computer out of the family room but use it there at the same time. In general, I am pleased with its performance One complaint I have is that the resolution is stated to be 1080P, but it is indeed 1080P with Also, I wanted to see if it would work with an Ethernet over power device. However, it didn't work In that case, I won't criticize it.
All I needed was a 50 foot cat5 wall cable in order to run a console with a keyboard and text. I really liked the way it worked. There are a few instances when keystrokes are dropped. For my purpose (a data closet server), it would not be good for gaming or low latency desktops, but it works well for my needs.
