These are great because they don't roll down on me, which is great because I have a tummy. I like how long these are because it makes you feel less exposed, and the legs don't roll up.
I'm not sure what the exact measurement is, but it's about 4 inches below the top of my thigh, and I'm 5'7".
I don't have any issues with them riding up, but I would prefer a longer length. I'm still a little too open. Aside from that, I really like them and would buy more.
These were purchased as a gift for my mother. I got her a 3x in jeans, which she usually wears in a size 22/24. She stated that they were true to size and that they fit perfectly. Let your hair down a smidgeon. So perhaps a 1x or 2x would suffice.

These swim shorts were fine, but I found them to be a little shorter on me than they were on the model. I was expecting them to be mid-thigh, but they were higher up. Normally, I wear a 22/24. These were ordered in a 3x and fit well, though the crotch area was a little saggy. These would work well if you want a looser fitting short, but they weren't quite right for me.
I also purchased two more tankini suits with shorts that were far too short to be worn in public. These are the perfect fit. There isn't anything too tight or loose about it. Without exerting any pressure, I can slip my finger under the hem of the leg. I didn't have to worry about them falling down in the pool because the waistband is snug but not too tight. In shorts, I wear a 16W and purchased an XL size (I'll be ordering another pair soon. ) The interior bikini bottom is a huge plus because it keeps the shorts in place. These shorts are extremely comfortable, and I didn't have to make any adjustments or even think about them while in and out of the pool. That's the way it ought to be.
Originally purchased for sunbathing, but after a quick swim, it still fit perfectly. If you're looking for tummy control, this is not the product for you. In pants, I normally wear a 14 and ordered a 1x.

Because of the tummy control reviews, I purchased this in a size 1X. I'm a 2X, but I was hoping for a tighter tummy control, which didn't happen. This does not appear to have any tummy control. It does have a mesh panty, but it isn't very secure. The shorts' material clings to you like a second skin. I'd wear these shorts, but I'd pair them with a long shirt or a bathing suit top because every bump on my body is visible. Since it is stated in the title, I would have preferred that they have better stomach control. If you're looking for tummy control, these aren't the products for you.
