Hello, I haven't worn it swimming yet, but I am confident that it is not see-through. I like mine, but wish it was a little higher waisted, but it's depicted accurately in the photo. It's a fairly sturdy knit material that's stretchy and there's a panty underneath the skirt; I'm happy with mine, but wish it was a little higher waisted, but it's depicted accurately in the photo.
I think you'll be able to get away with wearing small. Small is a good fit for me because I am 5'9" and 130 pounds.
It's not a pair of shorts, but a skirted swimsuit bottom.

It is ideal! So, I'm 5'7" and 150 pounds. My ribs are visible, but my thighs (sigh) are disproportionately large. Purchasing swimwear is always a good time. You never seem to be able to find a skirt that is long enough! br>THIS SKIRT IS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY. Yes, I screamed it at the top of my lungs. It's sleek, trim, soft, thick, and covers the part of my thigh I'd rather hide! I've had swim skirts custom made for four times the price, and they're nothing like this. br>I've placed a second order! Thank you very much! I think this is the best swim skirt I've ever bought.
I'm 5'4" and 135 pounds, and I usually wear a size 4/6 (pear-shaped body), but I ordered a medium. It is snug and well-fitting. In the water, the large would have been too big. I've previously made the mistake of purchasing a size large swim skirt, which fits fine (a little big and comfy) but falls off when I get out of the water. I prefer not to wear clothing that is too tight. I've discovered that in swim skirts, I require a snug fit. a bit of a squeeze Otherwise, the weight of the skirt will cause it to fall down when I exit the pool. I recently had a baby, and the rise is just right for me. I despise low rise, so this is a nice true mid rise. The fabric is comparable to that of kenneth cole or other high-end swimwear brands. Kenneth Cole and La Blanca swimsuits are among my many possessions. This is of excellent quality. I'm going to place another order in a variety of colors. The skirt is long enough to cover my entire backside as well as the tops of my chunky legs. The only criticism I have about the pantyhose is that they are a tad too tight around my buttocks and legs. That has always been my experience, and it was to be expected. You'll understand what I'm talking about if you have a bigger backside. But it's all right. I like how the skirt doesn't flare out much, but it still looks great. It's just the right amount of sass to make you look good. It looks very much like the pictures. This would look good on both thick and thin women of all ages, in my opinion. I'm a 30-year-old mother, and it doesn't make me look frumpy like some swim skirts do. Both tankinis and bikinis look great with this. I'll wear it with either depending on how much coverage I need.
PS- Please disregard my terrible sunburn.
It hits the waist just right and covers the bottom and thighs completely. To give you an idea of my size, I'm an 8/10 in jeans and my weight is distributed evenly between my hips and thighs. The circumference of my hips is 41 inches. I ordered a large and it fits perfectly! br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: It's been a summer staple for me, and it's still going strong! This is a fantastic swimming skirt!br>br>Edit once more: I needed a new skirt after this one lasted two summers. And I go to the water park at least once a week with my kids! This skirt should be purchased.
I adore this swim skirt because it provided me with the coverage I needed due to my hip weight. I can't say enough good things about this swim skirt; I couldn't find a single flaw in it!.
It corresponds to a predetermined condition. The entire figure is covered well. I'm a 14-year-old woman who wears a size 14. I purchased the 14th. The material appears to be durable. To keep the item in good condition, I'll hand wash it and hang it to dry. br>Update No. 8- 252017br>I've worn this item nearly every day for the past few months. It's been seen at the beach and in the pool. It has held up exceptionally well through extensive use, gentle cycle washing, line drying, and even a few low-temperature dryer dries. It hasn't lost its shape and is still a good fit. On the material, there will be no piling. There was no fading of color.
I'm 5' 7", 150 pounds, with a petite frame but "full" hips and bottom, and a pant size of 8 to 10. The LARGE is the perfect size for you. Because I usually wear a skirt cover-up, I was a little concerned about the attached bottom. I'm pleased with how the bottom (panty portion) covers and stays put in the water (it's a separate bottom, not attached). The skirt portion is fitted through the tummy and upper part, then flares slightly (without being too full or awkward). Unlike some other swim skirts, this one does not cling to your hips. I prefer something a little longer with good coverage at my age of 60, and this is exactly what I needed! I've placed a navy order for another! )br>br>UPDATE: (br>br>UPDATE: (br>br>UPDATE: ( I ordered a navy blue version, and the length is noticeably different. I prefer the black version because it is shorter. The navy length resembles that of a casual skirt rather than a swimsuit bottom. I'm not sure if this was a one-time occurrence or if the length varies depending on the color. Another in gray would be nice, but I guess I'll have to wait and see what I get!.
I weigh 155 pounds and stand 5'7" tall. I'm athletically built with a full thighs and buttocks. I placed an order for a large. I usually wear a 10 in jeans, a 12 in shorts, and a 6 or an 8 in dresses. (Perhaps that was a little too much information. ) ) I placed an order for two pairs of these shorts. They are excellent, in my opinion. They're short enough to make me feel young, but they're also long enough to make me feel comfortable. The lining provides adequate coverage, and overall, it is both comfortable and attractive.
The skirt runs a little long for a bathing suit bottom, which is the only reason I didn't give it five stars. Of course, my height of 5' 1" could play a role. It should be fine if you're taller than 5' 3". Also, my experience with ordering bathing suit bottoms on the internet has been that the majority of these are made in China and run a little small, so I ordered a medium. I should have ordered a small because it is a little big. So, my recommendation for this product is to order your true size, as it does not appear to be made in China, as it arrived in less than a week.
