I bought them and discovered that they were too tight around my hips and thighs. I had gastric bypass surgery and have sagging skin, so a larger size would have been preferable.
There isn't a liner on them.
These look like they'd be a lot of fun! I have "thunder thighs" and they fit perfectly, but I did order a size larger than usual!
I'm a 14-inch woman. 16W vs. 16 I'm an 18-year-old miss with a good hip/thigh area, and the 1X was a good fit for me. They don't have any give to them.

I'll be wearing board shorts and rash guards! I needed a new pair for the summer and was almost resigned to shopping for men's board shorts (again), but was overjoyed to discover these with a longer length for plus-sized women! br>Congratulations, Kanu Surf! br>The fit and feel are fantastic, with a light-weight construction. Fabric that is light in weight and dries quickly. In addition, I adore the black print! Plus, it's only $25. It doesn't get any better than this!br>.
As you can see, I like to stay covered up in the sun, which is why I'm wearing board shorts. For a family trip to Orlando's Volcano Bay, I needed a new pair of shoes. These were comfortable to wear and had a velcro pocket on the side that was perfect for my GoPro Hero 6 Black. The fact that the fly flap was made of bathing suit material was appealing to me. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because by the end of the day, I was chafing a little, but so was my son in a similar boys swim trunk, so that may just be the limit of this type of clothing, rather than this specific product. I usually wear an 8-10, but because I knew this material wouldn't stretch (it doesn't), I went with the 10 and it fits perfectly.
Frequently, things are either too small in one area or too large in another. These are a perfect fit for me. If anyone is curious about how these fit, I am 5'2" and weigh 215 pounds, and the 2X fits me perfectly. It's not too big, and it's not too tight. The stretchy drawstring fly area is ideal for board shorts. The waistband is made of a stretchy material as well. It's perfect for those of us with a chubby lower half!.
When the shopping options are 0, 2, etc. , I was completely perplexed by the size charts that list XS, S, M, and so on. My height is 5'6" and my weight is 116 pounds. Normally, a 0 fits me perfectly, but the XS appeared to be too small for my hips. I got the size 4 because the size 2 didn't have anything cute. It fits my hips perfectly, and I shortened the waist by two inches. I'm really looking forward to having a swimsuit that doesn't require a cover or a lot of sunscreen. I just want to play with my kids and hide everything, if you get what I mean. ) The length is excellent; it hits me at around 2. This Bermuda length is 5" above the knee. Perfect for running errands or grabbing a bite to eat at a restaurant.
I was initially pleased because I liked the fit and they appeared to be comfortable. Everything was fine until I attempted to walk away. eek! The fabric of shorts has a slight nap to it, which causes it to stick to itself in your inner leg as you walk. I'm a middle-of-the-pack type of person. a person of average height and weight, with average fitness and thigh-to-hip ratio I usually don't have this problem with my pants, but this time I did. I can't even walk in them because the fabric in the inner thigh makes a strange noise and twists up, and the shorts then ride up in the middle. Very unappealing and unsettling. They'll be returned to me.
Because no one else has posted them, here are the actual size 12 measurements:
35. 5 to 36. 5 inch waistbr>46 inch hips at widest pointbr>27 inch thigh at widest pointbr>22 inch leg openingbr>10 inch front risebr>13 inch back risebr>19 inch overall lengthbr>Please note that they may not have contrast stitching.
I usually wear a 2x, but after reading some of the reviews, I decided to order the 2x and 3x. The 2x was a perfect fit, but the 3x was too big. The shorts are very appealing to me. They are comfortable and have a nice length that covers more of the thigh area than other swim shorts and skirts. Tankinis are one of their specialties. However, I intend to wear them over a one-piece swimsuit that I already own. They do not, however, have any kind of lining or panty on the inside.
I wish they had built-in liners. br>I wear them in the pool, but they aren't as comfortable once they're wet unless they're worn with undies. Even for everyday wear, if you don't wear undies, you'll have some "creeping" up where you don't want it because the material is thin. br>They dry quickly, but only if you don't wear anything underneath them. br>The fly has a Velcro closure and a drawstring, but the Velcro is already worn out, causing the fly to pop open, which isn't ideal if you're not wearing underwear. It would have been better if the fly had been closed with a plastic zipper or if the drawstring had been used in a criss cross pattern. br>I'm giving these a good rating because I like them and am willing to overlook the flaws for the price.
