At 5'10" and wearing an XL for inexpensive pants and a L for expensive pants, I normally wear a large in both. This was the first pair of pants that I purposely sized up in the XXL size and they fit perfectly. I found that the larger size ended at the same place on my legs as it does on the model in the pictures. There is one thing you need to know about the material - it is VERY thick, sort of I liked how they looked from the rear and from the front. While the shirts did wrinkle more than I anticipated after the first wash on cold, delicate cycle, hang dry, I am pleased with their performance overall. If they are hard to iron, you can use a steamer to get rid of the creases. I would purchase them again in one size larger as I did, just as I did in the past. As far as fabric and fit are concerned, these pants are fantastic. There's nothing wrong with them, and they're exactly as described. This is my fault - I misunderstood what I had read on description and comments. I thought they were capris or midcalf length but they are ankle length (the inseam is 24") for someone who is only 5' 1. I ordered a size larger than I normally would have based on other people's comments. I would have been fine with a size XL, but I bought an XXL instead Now I don't mind them being ankle length - I am returning them to exchange what I have for the XL size instead of a small Even by following the size charts, it is difficult to identify the correct size as everyone's body is unique.
