The platform is about 2 inches tall, but not too tall.
It is recommended that you order a size up if you have a wide foot. It would not be advisable to size up if your foot is narrow. In addition, going up a size would be a good idea if you intend to wear socks with them. It fits just right, and I am wearing a size 9 in it, rather than a size 10.

I. About us I am very disappointed. The shoes are beautiful! I wish I could wear them every day! As I live in Texas, I just took them out of the box this month. I brought them in September, but moved to Texas in October. The strap has popped in a few wears! I have worn these maybe 4 times before this happened. Honestly, I don't know if these are even authentic at this point because I just hope this is not as good as what UGG has been producing lately. As a result of the platform, there is no way to walk in the shoes without a strap that holds your foot in place. Do you have no idea what to do? It's even possible for it to happen on the other shoe because you can see the stitching there! We are so disappointed and sad!.
I wanted to size up like many other reviews suggested, but none of the colors were in stock in size 11. The fit is very good, and I have been pleasantly surprised. It's a good idea to size up if you're planning to wear socks most of the time, but use your regular size if you don't.

Although the Ugg Funkette slipper runs small, it is true they are comfortable to wear with and without socks. My normal size is between an 8 and 8 1/2, and I got a size 9 and they fit perfectly.
I normally wear a size 5, but this would be perfect for me. My size is 5 US, so I ordered a size 5, but it was a little small due to the fur on the inside, so I had to exchange for a size bigger, it arrived the next day and fits perfectly, It is of good.
There is only one complaint it will discolor your feet because of the black dye in the lining.
