A size ten would be about right for me. They are also very comfortable and fit well. If you wanted, you could even go a few sizes up and still be fine
This is a perfect fit for me since I wear a 7. The size should not be too tight or too large. The only thing that matters is comfort. It would be fine to wear a Medium for a size 8.
It was very comfortable to wear over the bandages and I wear an 8 1/2 wide. I have had foot surgery and I had large bandages on my feet for a while, so not sure if that helps, but even now without bandages they are still very comfortable.
It is possible to wear them, but they are really more like The bottoms of these slippers have a non-slip surface like normal slippers do. It is possible that they could get dirty while outside, but you can wash them afterwards. It may help to know this.

I bought this for my sister and me as a present because they were only available in Shanghai Disney and Disneyland (and I live on the East Coast). Based on other reviews, I decided to get the Adult-Small size, and the slippers fit like a dream. Soft and plush, they are nothing short of amazing. As a result of the thick and soft sole, it's virtually impossible to tell that you're on the ground while walking. It's still a surprise to me that my bridal party will like the slippers as much as I do, but I hope they will as well. Once they wear the slippers, I believe they'll be fans of the slippers even if they don't love Disney as much as I do.
