Small children and big kids are both available in the same size. A size 7 is usually my usual size. My order was for an 8, but I paid for a 5 Sadly, the only size that fits my foot just right is the 7 but I probably could have ordered the 6 It fits better on an 8 than on a 9.
It is true I have washed them quite a bit. I love the way they come out! In any case, they were not dried in the dryer, I let them air dry.
