Order two sizes up, according to the majority of reviews, and this is most likely correct. I went up a size and should have gone up another size, depending on how you plan to wear the skirt. I need to be able to move freely and quickly, and because it doesn't have a back split, it fits me snugly. I'll also cover my stomach and buttocks with a top or jacket. So it all depends on how you want to wear it. Because I have a stomach, I will never wear a skirt with a shirt inside. I did not return the skirt, so it is still usable, albeit not as loose as I would prefer for the occasion. Please accept my apologies for not being able to assist you further. I'd go up one size at the very least.
Well, I got an XL and I'm 5'1 190 pounds and it's a little big on me, so the Medium medi should fit fine and the length should be enough to cover your knees.

Because the hip portion of this skirt is already sewn in, you'll need a massive hourglass frame to pull it off. The material is really nice and professional for the price, which is why I gave it three stars instead of one. If you're petite like me, Dani's Choice has high waisted skirts that fit snugly.
The skirt is light and airy, and it fits perfectly. Despite the fact that I am typically a size 4 in pants and a 2 in dresses, I am wider in the hips and smaller in the waist, so I ordered a medium to avoid the skirt being too clingy. With a 29" waist and 43" hips, I do, however, have a very hourglass figure. The XL that I ordered was SKIN TIGHT. So tight. I prefer my skirts to be more modest and loose, so I'm returning it; however, if you don't have the same issues as me, it's a fantastic skirt.
Buy one size larger than your usual size; I usually wear medium skirts, so I ordered a Large and it fits perfectly. There are no slits in the back, and the top is completely stretchy. Because there are no zippers or linings, the skirt is extremely comfortable and easy to wear.
My only issue was that I read a lot of reviews that said to order a size or two up from your normal size, so I ordered a large, which was way too big in the waist, so I returned it and got a small instead, which fits perfectly and still has a little room in the waist (I'm a dress size 4).
I already own two Eileen Fisher woolen pencil skirts and wanted something lighter for early fall but didn't want to pay the price; I read the reviews and realized that the skirt runs small for some people. Based on the EF sizing, it makes sense. In my case (EF x-) Despite the fact that it was extremely small, the small size was ideal. When I go to ballet or Pilates, I plan to wear it over tights with ankle boots and a long sweater so that I can get in and out of class quickly. It's a little long, ending just below the knee (as shown in the photo), but it easily rolls and pulls up. It has some weight to it, which gives it a smooth appearance, isn't flimsy, and will most likely handle stretching well enough for me to get some use out of it.
I love this skirt! The fabric quality is excellent, as others have stated, and I was fortunate in that I ordered a size larger than I normally wear because of the advice of other reviewers. It was a success! It looks professional and will be worn to work. I can't wait to get my hands on more colors.
