Sherpa is not used to line the bag. The inside of the jacket is lined with a quilted flannel-like I bought it for my daughter, she says it is warm and soft.
You're sure to stay warm in this My jacket was a bit bigger so that I could layer it under a hooded sweatshirt. There is a lot of warmth in the flannel lining. It should be ok to go outside when it is below zero for a while. Moreover, the coat does not allow the wind to permeate.
Although it covers most of the buttocks, it does not reach the top. The length on me is about 5'7" and the seat hits mid-rear.
In my opinion, the size should be large to extra Five foot five, 175/180 pounds and I got a large, it fits well, but when layered with a hoodie underneath, I wish I had gotten a size larger.

I will say that from my experience with women's Carhartt outwear, anything made from their "quick duck" or "washed duck" fabric is going to run a bit large. The cuff of anything with ribbed elastic is going to be smaller/shorter in length and arm length as well. In my closet, there are a few bomber jackets by Carhartt. Each in large, and they fit perfectly, allowing for a hoodie to be worn under both even though the sleeves still ride up in traffic. It's best for me to wear the Carhartt clarksburg hoodie in size medium because it doesn't ride up and it's very flattering on the body. Here in Florida, we have ridiculously severe winters, so I like to layer up! The weather changes from freezing in the morning to picnic weather by midday! In fact, when I first purchased this item I ordered a large and although it was comfortable and cute, the size was too large, and I drowned! Sadly it didn't fit me so I returned it for a medium and it looks great with or My plan for next season is to purchase a black set as well! What I love most about this jacket is the fact that it's stylish, durable, soft, and extremely warm! For any Carhartt fangirl, this is the perfect piece!.
The fact that the game comes with a 2-disc set made me extremely happy Zipper with a two-way opening! Rather than straining the zipper connection at the bottom, I can zip the jacket all the way up and open the bottom a bit. This one is a little lighter and works well for every day use and short trips outside in the -degree weather.
