I believe they are too short for someone of his stature. My daughter is quite short, so the length is perfect for her.

The band is extremely tight

With the exception of the tight top band, these socks are excellent. 5'6" and 145 lbs I bought them with the intention of spraying them with permethrin and using them to keep ticks at bay while hiking in the woods. So they wouldn't cut off my circulation, I cut the band down 2" from the top. They look great with the cut.

Excellent, but smaller calves will benefit more

I really like all of the styles and colors, but I wish they were a little higher and less see-through. These are definitely more for skinnier calves, but they still fit nicely. I've only tried the red stripe so far, but I'm sure they'll all fit. Because I have bigger calves, I was able to stretch them out and give them a bit of a see-through effect. by taking a look.

For a men's size 9, this is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy The blue striped one is much too short, barely reaching my knees

In comparison to my usual ones from a different brand (black), I'd request that they be made at least a little longer and stretchier. On the feet, the blue striped ones are fine, but everywhere else they are too tight.

When I gave these to my daughter for Christmas, she was pleasantly surprised. They aren't particularly thick, which she considers to be important, especially since they go above the knee. They're also comfortable to wear because they're not too tight around the knees and thighs. They also appear to be well made; I haven't washed them yet, but if they don't hold up in the wash, I'll update this review. br>br>Overall, a good buy, and I'll most likely buy more because she loves them so much!.
