Anything that has been manufactured, in my opinion, has a distinct odor. They shouldn't smell after you wash them; mine don't.
I'm 5'1 and weigh around 128 pounds, so they fit perfectly. I believe it all depends on how tall your six-year-old is, and the same can be said for your nine-year-old. I'd suggest looking through the children's section just to be sure! br>Wishing you the best of luck.
They stand about 12" tall and are knitted. So, if you cut them, you'll be able to - They are going to fall apart. They'd most likely be on their knees - I'm not sure how tall your young ladies are.
They are made in the United States, but they run small. I usually wear a large, and they are a little tight, but they do stretch out.

They were purchased while the weather was warming up on Long Island and now they seem to keep well as they are made in Germany they are nice for keeping and I don't care if I get one pair I like they keep pretty nice and stay up nice for a long while.
My thighs are averagely toned but do not stay up when I walk. Additionally, they attract lint. Rather than dealing with the hassle of returning them, I decided to keep them and wear them overnight to stay warm. No way! They have a scratchy texture. I tried soaking them in fabric softener as well as the traditional vinegar method. My legs were still bothering me. My quest for good leg warmers continues, and I'll be returning to Amazon:.
Last year, I was unable to locate any. This is the only pair that has made the cut. The other pair of "leggings" went to Goodwill after piling up in the wash and refusing to stay up on my legs. There are two pieces to this set: a top and a bottom. It's impossible to wear it backwards. They're held up by an elastic string at the top. These are fantastic. I mostly wore them with a pair of skinny gray pants, and they almost looked like they belonged to the pants. In the grocery store, one woman approached me to inquire whether they were a separate item. She had a lot of nice things to say about me. I like how hazy they are. I'm not interested in learning about the fabric's composition, but I believe it includes some wool. I wish all of the fabrics were natural. I'll put up with a little spandex and elastic, but keep it to a minimum. They keep my lower legs warm while riding in the car, so I know they're warm. If you're moving along and the weather isn't particularly cold, they might be too warm. I'm sure I'll be on the lookout for a pair or two more for next winter. I'm hoping to find a similar navy blue pair, as well as a maroon pair.
I haven't bought leg warmers in a long time, but I needed some for the winter so I could still wear dresses, especially sweater dresses, and these were the first pair I bought, and I love them! them🤗. All of the colors will be purchased. br>I am 5'2" tall. (lol. ) 1/2 I'm between 160 and 170 pounds on the half. I got the longer pair, and they go up to about 12 or 3 inches above my knees when I want them to, depending on where they look good near my foot and the shoes I'm wearing. Because the fabric isn't too thin or too thick, they look great when I wear them below my knees. As a result, crinkling them down is simple. The ones with the feet are my least favorite because they pull the warmers down. I also bought stocking clips, just in case, and because they go well with leg warmers on occasion. I've never needed to use them to keep my leg warmers in place. So far, they've held their shape well. They do not shrink or stretch after being washed. They don't make my top legs look as if fat is being pushed out of them. That irritates me greatly. I'm glad I bought these first because they're actually perfect, much to my delight. I'll post a picture soon.
These leg warmers are fantastic. However, chunky legs would not be appropriate. They look great when I wear them with skinny jeans and slouch them down. a warning: br>br> I'm a size 0 top. 00 is the lowest level. They're worn over jeans in the photo. They might not work for you if you're a big girl. These are the ones that have a "loose" fit.
KAHKI: It's still a good product. The khaki in this is a little darker than it appears in the photo, looking more like wet sand than khaki. The design is also a little off; the rusty red and white in the design aren't as prominent as they are in the photo. This could be due to the khaki not being as light as it should be, as the design does match the photo in a side-by-side comparison. I read in another review of this product that it contains some kind of wool or rabbit fur; I'd like to correct that; according to the tag attached to the item when I received it, this item contains no acrylic. br>br>The khaki item I received had a slight musty smell to it, but it was mostly gone after a quick wash. However, they do take a long time to dry, so keep that in mind. (It's possible that this is what's causing the odor. ) ) It measures 19 inches in length. There were no differences in length or stretch between the warmers when they were not stretched. The warmers did not sag more with movement when scrunched and worn over leggings. These leg warmers were about 3-inches long when fully extended. 4 in. While seated in a chair, I pushed past my knee. (I'm still not a fan of leggings. ) ) This meant that the warmers stretched to 21 inches long when one end was just brushing my ankle bone. I'd like to point out that I'm about the same size as the model, but my calves are 13 inches in circumference at their widest point. On someone who is taller, they may only reach just below the knee. br>br>Despite the incorrect description, I am happy with my leg warmers and would give them 3 1/2 stars if I could, but I'm being generous. Navy: br>br>NAVY: br>br>NAVY: br>br>NAV This version's colors are more accurate to the original, with the exception of the green, which is a little duller and less limey - I'd say it's more of an apple green. There was a slight chemical odor at first, but it was mostly gone after washing. Apart from these minor differences, the navy version of this product is nearly identical to the khaki version, and I am pleased with both.
Regular leg warmers were a little too short and arm warmers were a little too snug for my plus size arms, so I bought these for my arms. Although the cuffs can be rolled to keep them in place, they are too long for my arms. These help me control my body temperature because I have trouble doing so.
These have been in my possession for several years, 4- 5 years. They are well-made and thick. The colors are fantastic. It has a very bohemian feel to it. Every winter, I still put them on. There are no tears or holes in this piece. With them, I'm a little rough. They've played football with boys for three years.
