Questions & Answers

What is the fit like for a plus-size mom in this dress?

I'm 5'4 and plus size, so the fact that it had to go over my belly and was short didn't work for me when I tried it on. I'd be flashing everyone if I knelt down. It's a super cute dress, but it's a little too short for me. They have a sleeveless long dress that I love and wear at least once a week.

Is this something you'd wear if you weren't expecting a child?

Yes, the main reason I like this dress is that it allows breastfeeding moms easy access. Anyone can wear it because it is flattering.

Is this a wrap dress in the truest sense of the word?

No, it just appears to be that way. The ties wrap around to give the illusion of a wrap. It is, however, extremely comfortable and luxurious to wear. It's one of my favorite maternity dresses because it's so flattering.

I'm now 27 weeks pregnant, standing 5'1" tall and weighing 155 pounds. This will be worn for my baby shower in April, so about a month from now. I'm not sure what size to order. ?

If you're a bit on the busty or broad side, order one size up from your pre-pregnancy size. I'm 5'2" and found it to be too short for me, so order ahead of time if you want to exchange it.

It'll be fantastic for you
5/5

Colors and fabric are fantastic! This maternity piece is very comfortable and a good value. I've tried each and every one of them! If you have broad shoulders and a large bust (as seen in the third photo), this dress might be a little too small for you. I'm 5'7" and weighed 130 pounds before I got pregnant. expecting a child I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my second child and weighing 150 pounds at the moment. I've gone from a 32 D to a 34 D bra size. A medium was the size I requested. The dress has a tie in the back, which flatters my figure better. It has yet to be washed.

This dress has a very nice material, but it is not flattering for a large chest
3/5

It's made of a soft material, and I bought it along with a couple of other dresses for my baby shower. It was very comfortable, but the chest part disappointed me because it made my chest appear even bigger, and I'm already self-conscious about that area. It appeared to detract from my baby shower bump. I'm 5'6 with heels, 160 pounds at 30 weeks pregnant, and have a 38D chest, so I think it would have been better if I had a nice supportive bra, but I bought other dresses that made my chest area and bump look more flattering without having to buy an expensive bra. Because it was so comfortable, I would probably wear it if I had something else to attend to that required me to wear a dress with a cardigan or kimono over it.

This is an absolutely stunning gown
5/5

I'm not sure why this dress is causing so much consternation. It was given to me as a gift for my baby shower, and I absolutely adored it. It's somewhere I'd like to be able to call home. I even went out and bought another. br>I believe that people are not purchasing the correct size; at 28 weeks pregnant, I was 5'5" and 190 pounds, and the large fit perfectly. The dress was roomy in the chest area and ended just above my knees. When I sit down, it may feel a little short, but that is true of any dress. I guess it's just knowing how to sit in a gown. br>While the fabric is a little thick, it is extremely soft. In addition, the bow is far too large. It was fine if I tied it in a loose bow on the side. br>I bought the emerald color, which was opaque. br>I adore this dress and plan to keep it long after I'm no longer pregnant.

For light or bright colors, I would size up and wear a slip
4/5

I'm 5'2" and wear an Old Navy size medium. (I figured that would be the most universal comparison) In a pinch, I bought three dresses: one medium and two larges. The Medium was a little too tight around the upper arms (where I'd gained most of my pregnancy weight) and didn't look as nice as the Large. Because the jersey is very comfortable but thin, I would pair it with a skirt slip (which I happened to have on hand) for brighter, lighter versions. (Under the thin jersey, you couldn't see the color of the undies, but you could see the belly button, VPL, and some cellulite. ) It's possible that I'm more aware of it than others). My skin tone was completely washed out by the Mauve, but the coral was lovely. I wish there were more hot pinks available! I couldn't figure out how to tie the belt in a bow without making it look bulky or silly, so I just did an off-the-cuff knot. a tie in the middle This was purchased for a more formal baby shower in the backyard. Easy to dress up with accessories and wedges, but for a subsequent event that was much more casual, I added a jean jacket and swapped wedges for white low top Converse. Advantages: br>br> Going from semi-professional to professional was a fantastic experience. Cons: dressy event to dress down event, comfortable, color is as shownbr>Pros: dressy event to dress down event, comfortable, color is as shownbr> Thin, runs a half size small, and appears to be ruined in the wash (I'll try to update). Will most likely be worn once.

The dress was very cute, but it was too small in the waist
3/5

Although I am not particularly tall, I found the dress to be small in the chest area and shorter on me than it appears on other people. The XL was still too small for me at 5'7" and 200 pounds, so I had to return it.

Even though it isn't intended for pregnant women, it is still adorable
4/5

Okay, I received this gown and tried it on. br>1) It isn't a wrap dress at all. There is only a sash on the sides that can be tied in the front or back. br>2) It's extremely short; I'm 5'4" and it's easily 3" above my knees. I wouldn't wear it without leggings because of the swishy style. 3) It is NOT a low-cost option. It has a unique cut that is extremely difficult to find in a maternity dress. br>br>Overall, I like it, but it's clear that it wasn't designed to be worn during pregnancy. It would be longer in front if that was the case.

UPDATE: The quality is poor
3/5

I would not recommend this product. UPDATE: This dress has only been worn twice, and many of the seams have come undone, resulting in several holes. No replacement will be provided by the seller. I didn't even bother to wash or dry it. I would not recommend this product. Despite the fact that I am not pregnant, I adore this dress *insert blushing emoji*. I stumbled upon it by chance and decided to give it a shot. I'm so happy I did. It's incredibly comfortable and flattering. I'm 5 feet tall and weigh 119 pounds. I bought a small and it fits perfectly, especially with the tie to help cinch in the waist; I'll definitely keep it around for post-baby wear!.

Despite the reduction in size, this is not a dress for super-busy women
3/5

The fabric and print are both very soft, which I like. My only complaint is that the bust cut is a little too small. Because being extra busty (H cup and up) necessitates more coverage, this is my go-to cut for stretchy dresses. I bought this exact style dress in the same size from other retailers and didn't have the same bust issue, plus I noticed a hole in the fabric on the back after removing the tag and washing the dress. Of course, it was too late to return the tag because I had just removed it, but I'll keep it. It's comfortable enough to wear around the house, but the cut-up top makes it unflattering to wear to work.
