To be on the safe side, I'd go with a large. The dress is comfortable and stretchy, but I think you'd be better off ordering a large, especially for the chest area.
I'd recommend the Large. I purchased the XL because I am 5'4" tall, 6 months pregnant, and weigh 240 pounds. There's still some room in my suitcase.
After several washes, no, it did not shrink.
My height and weight are 5'5 and 200 pounds, respectively. And I went with the XL because it has a lot of stretch. My knees are just above the length of the skirt. For length and comfort, I believe the Xl is the best option.

Because the package was inside out as I was opening it, I knew something wasn't right. I immediately noticed it was covered in hairs and lint when I turned it around. It was even strewn with long strands of blonde hair. It's clearly been worn and hasn't been washed in a long time. I'm completely disgusted. br>br>While I understand that returns are inevitable, you could at least ensure that the product is clean and free of other people's hair before sending it to your customers. br>br>Recent changes - I ordered two at first, but only one arrived the next day. That one is spotless, has tags, and appears to be brand new. Both of them were enormous when I tried them on. Because I am short, I expected them to be long, but they are baggy around my buttocks and legs. I ordered smalls because I'm 4'11", size 4, 32DD. They will be returned.
I usually go for the Medium. But right now, I'm 5'5 and 150 pounds and 7 months pregnant. Both photos show me wearing a SMALL. I'd recommend going one size down from your current size. I bought the floral dresses in light pink and grey. They fit well, but I wore spanks with them because the material is thin and shows every crevice (not the thinnest, but not the thickest). I like the length because it is tight around the midsection, making the look more conservative. Also, take note! I also bought the black dress, but the material on that one seemed even thinner, so I ended up returning only the black one. (Almost sheer and transparent) The other two patterns in the photos appeared to be thicker.
It's made of a soft, stretchy jersey fabric. The navy is a stunning color. The dress was form-fitting, which I expected. It was still light and airy, and it felt good on my skin. It received a lot of positive feedback when I wore it to my baby shower. (As an example: I'm 32 weeks pregnant and weigh 156 pounds, so I ordered a Small. ).
I'm completely smitten with this gown. I wear this the most out of all my maternity clothes; I started wearing it around 18 weeks when I first started to show, and it perfectly accentuated my bump so it was obvious I was pregnant and didn't gain weight all of a sudden. I'm 23 weeks pregnant in these photos, and I'm confident that this dress will fit and flatter me throughout my pregnancy. I'm hoping it'll still hang nicely when it's all said and done, and that I'll be able to wear it once my pregnancy is over. I'm 5'7" and weigh 155 pounds when I'm not pregnant. I'm 5'7" and weigh 170 pounds when I'm not pregnant.
To help with any pantyline/cellulite issues, I wore a slip underneath, which I believe helped smooth things out. It's a good length and has a lot of shape to it. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't want something that is tight and shows off your curves. I've included some photos to show how a small fits on me. I'm 5'6" tall and have a 40" butt, a 39" bump, and a 36" bust. I had a few other dresses to choose from, but for the shower, I went with this one. (Before you pass judgment, that is a glass of sparkling GRAPE JUICE in my hand. ).
This dress is very comfortable to wear and looks great. At 5'4 and 140 pounds, 4 months pregnant, I ordered a size medium, which is a little long and loose on me. I think I would have done better with a small because there is still room to grow into it. It also stretches out as you wear it, but overall, it was a good buy and a great dress for the humid, hot summer days of the Southeast United States, as the material is thin and cool. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: This dress was comfortable throughout my pregnancy, even when I weighed 178 pounds at full term.
I'm not expecting a child, but I ordered this dress because it resembles other non-maternity styles. It's maternity, but it's done in a really cute gray floral. Some of my maternity clothes are still flattering on my pear shape and mom tummy, so I'm hanging on to them. This one isn't bad, but it's nothing to write home about. I had to go down a size (a L instead of my usual XL); Because the side ruching goes all the way up to accommodate a pregnant belly, it's still a little too big around the waist and ribcage for me (5'7"/175 lbs/ 14 pants). I'm going to keep it because I like the pattern so much. The fabric is stretchy, soft, and has a good weight to it. I also have the sewing skills to make it work (I'll add vertical darts to the back waist). If you don't have a big stomach, big breasts, or don't mind a little looseness, you should probably leave this to the pregnant women.
To be honest, I'm not sure if I'm 3 or not. Although 5 stars would be more accurate, I would most likely purchase this dress again, so 4 stars seems more appropriate. My two gripes are as follows: The duration. br>br> I'm not particularly tall (5'4), so I had to kind of hike it up to keep it from reaching my knees. The majority of the time, however, it remained up. That said, I understand that this may be a good thing for some people. Especially if you're expecting a child or if you're tall. I, on the other hand, was not pleased. The substance. br>br> Look, if there was ever a time when I needed a thick piece of clothing, it's now! My belly button can be seen in one of my photographs. And it's not just a smidgeon. Shew. I had a similar Target dress that I found at a consignment store (you could see my belly button in this one as well, but not quite as clearly), and despite the fact that it was purple, I preferred it to this one because it felt more confining. That's all we want as far as we're concerned as super-pregnant women are concerned. It also shouldn't come as a surprise that you'll want to be cautious about what you wear underneath this gown. It's possible that a darker dress won't cause the same issue. Overall, it's a nice dress that can be worn in a variety of ways, making it a good option for stretching your maternity wardrobe on a budget.
