The fit is very true to size, and I wear an 8 wide, which is plenty wide enough without purchasing the wide size.
Yes, 1 inch is the height of the heel.
They can get wet, to be sure. When they get wet, however, they become a little slick, so take caution when walking in the rain.

I bought two pairs of these flip flops as a test because they were on sale and I could return them for free if I didn't like them. The Jello Flip Flop and the Flax Wedge My feet hurt so much after standing for long periods of time that by the end of the night, I couldn't walk. I was assisting my cousin in the planning of a wedding. I was up and about from 10 a. m. to 8 p. m. This pair of flip-flops is AMAZING! I spent the entire night standing on natural stone, tile, and concrete, and I was in great shape by the end of it. In some reviews, these were described as simply high-priced flip flops. Not true! Walmart flip flops, Old Navy flip flops, Crocs, and Nike memory foam flip flops are among my footwear options. Since they put the dots on the insole, the Crocs have become uncomfortable for me. All of them were defeated by the Yellow Box.
My arches are extremely high, and I need to wear prescription orthotic inserts in my shoes or my arches, balls of my feet, and ankles will become extremely painful. I used to spend a lot of money on high-quality sandals that I didn't like, but these Yellow Box sandals have replaced them. br>When I first put them on, they were sturdy and cushy, providing support for my arches while allowing the rest of my feet to sink in. OMG, it felt so good! After a few months of wearing them, they had molded to my feet and provided excellent support. I now have about 5 pairs of Yellow Box sandals. I wish they were a little dressier to wear on special occasions. br>If I wear them three times a day, each pair lasts about two years. Every week, for four days.
They are far more comfortable than any other flip flop I've ever worn for everyday wear. They don't irritate the space between your toes, and the way the base of them is made, it feels like you're walking on a cloud. I've had my current pair for years and they're still in great shape, so I'm sold on the brand and style. With the weather warming up, I decided to go with a plain black pair, and yellow box did not disappoint once again. These shoes have a great look and feel to them. I'll be purchasing more in the future!.
Yellowbox flip flops are one of my favorite pairs of shoes. They're soft and comfortable, and the fit is consistent across the board. It's the same with the Flax sandals. The only issue I have with them is that the straps are a little higher on my high arches than other styles, so the fit isn't quite as comfortable. The straps are also faux leather, making them less comfortable than fabric straps. Overall, the Flax sandals are quite nice, though I wouldn't want to walk around in them all day like I do in my other Yellowbox flip flops.
This is my third pair of Yellow Box sandals, and they are by far my favorite; I usually opt for the taller wedges with the decorative straps, but these are more casual and much more comfortable. They slid on right out of the box, no breaking in required. I've had no blisters at all, and I've been wearing them all the time, even at home. I have average-width feet, but these appear to be wide enough to fit wides. I normally wear a size 8, but I went up a half size because that's what I do when ordering shoes, and I could have gotten away with an 8 with these. I think I'd still go for the half size up because I adore the fit of these shoes and wouldn't want to risk changing anything about them. I'm going to order another pair. Yellow Box is of high quality, and with regular use, they will last for about two years before showing signs of wear. Because they don't have crystals or gems all over them, they might last a little longer.
Teva and Fitflop were my previous favorites, but they can be expensive and don't always last as long as I'd like for the price. I decided to give these a try to see how they hold up for the price, and they're a lot better for the money. I wear or carry a baby a lot, I have a lot of chores to do, and I walk a lot on hard surfaces. I'm not going to put up with sore feet or joints as a result of bad or thin shoes. With these sandals, you won't have any such issues.
I bought the tan but didn't care for the color. I expected it to be a little more orange-toned, but it wasn't. I liked this style better than the ones I ended up keeping, but the other pair had a nicer, more neutral tan option. br>br>As for the sandal, I like the Yellowbox flip flops for their comfort, so I'm sure they'd be great if you wanted this shade of tan or the black or white. br>br>I'm giving the tan a three-star rating, but I'm sure the black or white would get five. I kept this pair: br>br>.
I used to wear Reefs, but the quality has deteriorated significantly over time, owing to a change in manufacturers and/or materials. As a result, I decided to give Yellow Box a shot. I like them, and so far they've been of good quality, but they're quite bulky! That may appeal to some, but it does not appeal to me. I'd like a flip flop with a thinner sole and, despite my wide feet, one that "hugs" my foot more. It's time to look again.
