A sandal that has been tailor-made for your foot will not slip if is correctly adjusted. This is very comfortable I bought two and I have to give one away.
This did not happen to me. My lace-ups are very tight since I have a wide foot and a high instep, so there is no space for the rubber straps to move and cause blisters.

Beautiful sandals! I'm in love with them! Despite being contemporary, these chairs are extremely comfortable! It's hard to believe how amazing these sandals are. Then I clicked on these and didn't realize that they were Crocs. When I searched for platform sandals for our vacation, I clicked on these. Crocs are a very unattractive animal to me. I am passionate about what I do. I did not realize the brand until I read the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised with the results. I'm so in love with this color that I am thinking about buying more. One thing that annoys me is that they got an unattractive mark on them when they were packed in my bag. I think it was a crayon or sharpie, and I have not been able to get it off. I also need to keep in mind that the gum shoe color sole leaves scuffs on the white that I cannot remove from it. It would be great if other colors turned out better. If they are not, I believe they are worth the money even if they are not. It looks like I'm really into crocs these days!
