These shoes were ordered for my wife who said they fit true to size. Even with thick wool socks she said she is comfortable with them and her feet don't get sore. If you loosen the laces, you can adjust the fit as well

How waterproof are these boots? Can you hike in them for hours in the ?

Having never experienced deep snow, I can't speak for others. These boots provide the most comfort and durability I've ever owned, and I've been in water rivers. It's hard for me to say for sure if there will be massive snowfall.

Is it possible to return a pair of shoes if the fit is not right?

Don't know what size I should buy, but I bought a 10 and it fitted perfectly

Could these be worn during the summertime or are they best suited for the winter?

Warmth is evident in their presence. The summer would not be a good time for me to hike with them.

They have no problem wearing wool socks with them and have lots of room for my feet. As well, the traction was outstanding, and this was one of the major factors that influenced my purchase.

I didn't expect this to be as waterproof as I had Buying these for work days outside in the snow was the best purchase I've ever made

The shoes are lightweight, with plenty of grip, but they are not Leaving the weather, I walked in the snow, rain, mud and my toes got ice cold and wet. I am kind of bummed about that. There is enough space to add an insole or arch support without them being too tight.

like these boots because they are warm, light in weight, very comfortable, and fit me perfectly, as I have narrow heels, and finding boots that don't rub blisters is difficult. We want you to feel comfortable all the time.
