The boots are not particularly tall, they sit a bit above the ankles
I haven't used them on temp higher than 70 degrees F, but found them to be quite effective. I believe they are very light in weight and have a sole type of sole on the inside, if that helps.
This had to be done, and considering it had been shipped already, I had to return the wrong
It is absolutely true for me. Even though I was comfortable, they also provided great ankle support for me when I went hiking.

In the past I have never left a review, so I felt compelled to in this case. The quality of their work is that The shoe size I normally wear is an 8, so I ordered an 8 and they were perfect. I wore one pair of regular crew socks and my feet felt very comfortable in the shoe. This was the first pair I got on Friday, and I wore them for a hike at least 7+ miles in Kentucky hills on Saturday. A lot of water was on the ground and we walked through it When I had to stand in water for several minutes with my dogs I didn't notice any moisture on my socks at all.
They are very light weight and as far as hiking boots are concerned- they are all-around excellent. Besides being stylish, they're also practical.
These shoes are amazing. I can't say enough great things about them. wasn't expecting such a great shoe for such a small sum of money, but I will recommend them to everyone I know. This is an amazing group of people!.
When I read the reviews, I was hesitant to purchase these because they crease and pinch. There are none! A boot is one of my favorite accessories. While hiking, I wear a medium weight sock and they still fit well. In lakes and deserts as well as beginning to be tested in snow, the floats have proven themselves so far. If you are just starting out as a hiker or on a budget, I'd recommend it. I have also found it to be great for supporting my ankles!.
It is an attractive and quality shoe, but a little too narrow for my taste. The footbed of the shoes is completely devoid of support. You should beware if you require arch support.
Amazing boots! I love them so much. on our camping trip, and I was surprised at how easily I could place my feet with my boots when I normally have to put them carefully with my Nikes. There was never a time when I felt like I needed to remove them for rest. Wearing them all day was no problem for me.
There is also the option of an ankle boot instead of shoes and that is lighter. I had been looking for hiking boots that weren't pink, purple, or teal, but still looked good and these were great! I prefer ankle boots over shoes, but it is hard to find lightweight ones. It took me no time to break these in because they are very light and did not For the first time I wore them, I hiked about 7 miles with no pain in my feet. It is difficult for me to comment on their waterproofness since I did not have to deal with water. We'll see how much damage they take on my first hike, so we'd better see how the waterproofing works. There is noness. In the course of this hike, I also came within about a foot of a snake of fairly decent size. The lightweight boots that helped me escape unharmed are responsible for me being able to do so. It was probably due to the cold, since the snake could barely move in the 45° temperature and I was never in danger. It's impossible for us to know for sure. Although I typically wear a 7 in every shoe, I decided to go up to an 8 this time around. Reviewers have given the product five out of five stars. The ones I got felt OK to me. I could have gotten by with a 7, but the ones I got felt like they were a little Also, your socks will fit better in cold weather because there will be more room.
A good fit is achieved. As I wear a size 9 on shoes, I decided to stick to that. It is a bit roomier than a size 10. After wearing my shoes for one hour my feet are extremely tired. I like that it has ankle support, but it gets a bit tiring after awhile. So far I haven't broken them in completely yet, but I'm wearing them for the third day today. I will be testing them this weekend when I go hiking, and I will update the review afterward. I am going to see if it actually is water resistant, if it has traction, and if it becomes I just updated It took me a hike of just ten miles to ruin my feet. Grass was rocky on the ground and there was a lot of dirt. After a while I noticed that it got into my boot, and I felt it every time I stepped out. Around 4 miles into the race, I felt blisters forming on my feet. With my running shoes on, I usually don't have a problem with this. If you have flat feet, this shoe won't work for you. It was a good thing that my feet didn't get wet when I stepped into the.
They are great! I love them! bought them yesterday and wore them around the house for a few minutes before taking them out on the trail - we ran through water and mud and I even tripped over some rocks. The support is great, and the comfort is great. The socks run narrow, and I ordered an 8 but if I sized up they would not fit or would be too thick to wear in the summer, but being summer I do not want to wear Their insole doesn't come out to replace it with a different one, and there's no arch support on them. In my case, I ran 3 miles and didn't have any problems.
To begin with, I have a hard time finding hiking boots that fit properly. The whole "size up a half size" rule does not apply to me since I wear a size 11 most of the time. In 11, none of the shoes are made for women. There is a reason why it is 5. If I want to wear hiking boots, I can either wear a size 11, which breaks my toes on descent, wear a size 12, which trips me over, or buy men's hiking boots in a size These are clearly none of the best options. After trying the size 11 boots and shoes in the past, I decided to take a chance and try the size I appreciate that the shoes run narrow, but for my feet that's fine. There is no problem with the length however, they run a bit small, so the 12 would be more appropriate for an These shoes are super lightweight and do not add bulk to my feet, so they don't look as big as I expect a short break from them, as they seem stiff- The period is over. Trying them out on the trails is on my bucket list. If they're truly waterproof, I hope they'll last a long time. Although I am unsure about canvas uppers, I am slightly skeptical. crooked patch on the tongue on both boots is a sign of overall quality, so hopefully it does not reflect the quality of the It's not worth it to me to trade them for something so superficial that no one else would notice any difference.
