If you're referring to the small gemstones inside the pendant, they do come with it. We kept these as a memento of our deceased cat, Kitty. We trimmed some of her fur and added it to the sparkles inside. It's an eye-catching piece of jewelry.

I like how this isn't like my origami owl, which has a clasp. I'm also a slacker who doesn't take it off when I shower; I keep my locket on all the time, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA But that means I can confirm that this will not allow water in, indicating that it does what it claims to do. br>br>Now, I won't knock off a star because this is how it works so well, but the threading is teeny tiny, and you have to make sure you get the two pieces together exactly right and gently turn them while keeping them flat. It's simple to get it off a little bit, and that's most likely what happened to anyone who had it come apart while wearing it (it happened to me once). These are the most secure lockets I've ever owned, as long as you make sure it's properly attached. When you can't get a fingernail between the two pieces, you'll know it's on correctly. Try again if there is a gap; it should be completely flush.

It's both attractive and sturdy

This necklace is exquisitely crafted. It appeared when I was looking for urns and was designed as a keepsake necklace. I didn't want to keep the ashes, but rather a strand of hair. It came with four small gemstones, and I am quite pleased with my bling. The two pieces screw together, leaving plenty of room inside for whatever you want. Ashes, hair, pet fur, or any other small trinket will suffice. A lobster claw clasp closes the chain, which has beads every inch and a half or so. The chain is a little short (20") for me, but I recently ordered extenders from Amazon and they fit perfectly.

The chains have a lot of tarnish on them

I bought two, one for my mother and one for my husband's mother, to give at a Christmas party. I finally got around to opening them today, and the locket is lovely but quite small. The most upsetting aspect is how tarnished the chains are. I'm sorry, but I'm unable to provide them in this manner. I'm not happy with how things are going.

This gift made my daughter extremely happy. She had seen the name brand at a show and did not want me to spend that much money on it. This was an excellent compromise; it's of good quality, and we've had no problems with it thus far. On the locket is the Everlead logo.
